Consistent with ongoing practice both on these forums and our official Kumoricon Facebook group, we have removed a forum thread discussing a public controversy about one or more specific individuals in connection with another convention, Aki Con. Per the forum code of conduct:
keep discussion focused on the issue rather than the person. [...] Minimize discussion of off-forum personal disputes.
Several Kumoricon board members discussed this incident last night and decided to not allow discussion of this issue on our Facebook group or forums for this reason.
We know that this is a major news event which involves a nearby convention, and are not claiming this is an issue that people shouldn't discuss--but this forum and our Facebook group aren't the place for it.
