We're getting there!

We're working with who is available at what time, what size room is needed and what equiptment is needed.

It can be tricky.  We don't want to make a schedule that has 5 events that need expensive equiptment at once, and then no one who needs that equiptment for the rest of the afternoon.  We want to spread those out so we can rent only as many projectors and things of that nature as we really need.  Again, the more money we save this year, the better the con can be next year.

On that note:
If anyone has access to a computer projector you can borrow (maybe your school will let you check one out or work will let you borrow one), please get in touch with us.  You will recieve much gratitude!  Addional televisions that are 25" in diameter are larger for console gaming are also needed.  The more that we can borrow, the less we have to rent.

I can say that Sunday's going to be a great day!  We've got the cosplay, events for cosplay intermission that will even top last years, and then the dance.

Here are the main events I have gleaned so far:

Saturday evening: Karaoke Contest, open mic afterwards

Sunday (time unknown): Cosplay Contest
Sunday evening: Anime Dance, open Karaoke room

Monday morning-ish: AMV Contest, AMV Show afterwards.

I'm not too concerned with the smaller things, just the major events so I can decide which day to attend or just go all-out and stay for the weekend.

Friday Afternoon/night: 7-10PM Night before badge pick-up and registration.
Opening Ceremony: 10 AM Saturday
Saturday Night: Live Action Sailor Moon Slumber Party (conflicts with Karaoke  )
Closing Ceremony: 3 PM Monday

This schedule is subject to change as the brightly colored thing is passed around and scribbled on.

Expect better updates after the Portland meeting this Sunday.

Well, Cosplay will be going on Sunday.  There are also some panels, the video rooms will be showing various things, and I think I have a panel that day some time...

Schedules will be forthcoming.

fanfic bedtime stories is presently scheduled for  sunday night, 9pm to midnight or til the last person falls asleep :)
(this way, we start when cosplay ends.)

fanfic beta station will be available ...somewhere in the hall...saturday, 6pm to 8pm...and sunday and monday on a drop-in basis most of the day, in the salem room. (see door of salem room for specific hours).

fanfic workshop/ panel will be held on sunday. timing will be announced as soon as i hear from my panelists, what time is their preference. presently, i'm leaning towards holding it from 11-1 or 1-3.

deadline for turning in submissions for the fanfic contest is 11:59pm sunday.

hope to hear from many of you soon!
