Anime in original Japanese w/ fan subs?
« on: August 22, 2006, 11:08:42 pm »
If anyone is interested, I will be bringing epps 1-25 of Naruto with me to K-con. They are very cool to see in the original format, hear the original voices etc. (wether or not you can understand Japanese!)

Track me down if you'd like to take a look - I'll probably be watching them somewheres in the hall on my laptop when I'm not manning the auction table in the vendor room.

Is anyone else bringing fan subs with? If so, what series???

Oh I'm bringing quite a few so my girlfriend can watch Noir.

Let's see..

Ah! My Goddess
Bleach (up to 93 at the moment)
Chobits
Cowboy Bebop (dual audio so it has both)
Elfen Lied
FMP! (all three seasons)
FMA
Galaxy Angel (season 1)
Gunslinger Girl
Last Exile
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenoboshi
Mahoromatic (seasons 1 and 2)
Noir
Now and Then, Here and There
Onegai Sensei
Onegai Twins
Samurai Deeper Kyo
Shaman King
Read or Die (tv + ova)

Oh yeah, then Excel Saga, Scrapped Princess, and Trigun all in english.

And that's just what is on my external HD. The rest of this junk I could switch out with something else if someone wanted to borrow the HD, though you'd have to have your own computer.

I have all 202 episodes of One Piece subbed by Kaizoku Fansubs, I have 11 Ghibli movies (can't find My Neighbors the Yamadas ANYWHERE :( ), Hellsing, Advent Children (both english & Japanese), Barefoot Gen, Serial Experiments Lain, Pretear, Gunparade March, Geneshaft, & GITS: SAC.

I had all 197 episodes of Naruto, but my HD died and I haven't bothered redownloading them all since it will be really difficult to find episodes 1-90.

I have all of Saiyuki and saiyuki reload. The Saiyuki Reload came from Japan so it's from its original home land. ^_^ And it is subbed but I have no idea when I would have time to watch it. So I don't know if I would bring it. I have a lot of yaoi to.

I'd love to see FMA - I've only read the manga (same with the ones that are *ed below). I was hesitant at first because it's so popular, but I really like it.

In the viewing rooms I wanna check out -

*Ah! My Goddess
Angel Sanctuary
Bleach
*Chobits
*Love Hina
*Paridise Kiss
*Petshop of Horrors
R.G. Utena
Scapped Princess

And I have never seen FMP!

I watched that entire series in ONE DAY with my best friend.

...I think something happened to our brains, that day.

I have naruto ep 1-100+ bootleg on dvd fan-subtitled. I should sell it since I don't watch it anymore. it's really good quality too.

But I must admit, I get most of my sub from youtube or download. I am an innernets pirate XB
It's hard being pinq.
