Hmmm....I know this may sound creepy, but I was wondering if the cosplayers would be allowed to auction off their group members. Like say....a Neko Naruto equipped with collar and leash? Just for the day.

I just want to know if it is against the rules to do so.

Waaah! My friends and I shall be hiding in the viewing rooms then! We are going as SnJ Kakashi, Iruka, and Itachi.... so as I said if this happens we shall hide and watch and giggle from the shadows!

Yeah, that could seriously get into some pedo-ish issues.

Not that all older people are perverts, but it might make a young con-goer uneasy if a much older person were to "buy" them or whatever.

But if it was only eighteen and over, younger con goers might feel left out.

So I would say, if something like this was considered approproate, the age ranges would have to be relative and appropriate.

Like, fifteen & sixteen yearolds could only "buy" within their own age range, and eignteen and above could only "buy" within the age range.

That might make some people more comfortable, and not irritate overprotecrive parents. :?[/size]

I'm 18. So For the age thing. Thats a hard one. I don't want to make it so no one can buy. Maybe we can ask the person being auctioned off how they feel about it, then just include that in their information before we sell them.

One more thing...this is not an official con event. Just something I felt like throwing together. Yup yup. Ahhh.....the creativity.

You don't have to be a Naruto cosplayer ^^ So if you REALLY want to it will be held the second day of the con. The first day will be me running around like crazy trying to advertise and recruit. Yosh.

There should deffinitaly be a no taking your winning prize into your hotel room kind of rule. >____________>;

They are deffinately not allowed to abuse you. If they do, report to me and you no longer have to spend any time with them. No refunds in that case either.

As for the time...I don't know. I had some thoughts but I'm not sure what is reasonable. Like 6 hours?

I think that sounds reasonable. It's not like, the WHOLE day, but it is a sufficient amount.

Although, I'm sure people might have certain things they want to do, and while they could simply ask the winning bidder "Hey, I wanted to go to this panel at 3pm, can we go together?" The winning bidder does have a right to, as a person, say "No," simply because they don't wanna go to that certain event.

In which case, I think the "prize" should be alloted a "breaktime" of some sort. Kind of like when you're at work. They pay you for working, and then you take your lunch hour, which you're not paid for. And then you go back to work. Working, in this case, would be acting as the winning bidders "prize."

Does that make any sense? 'Cause even if someone was willing to be claimed as a prize, they still might not wanna be dragged around for that time, especially if, for example, something serious came up and they had to leave, or they happened to get a phone call from someone and had to go do something for a bit.

It seems like a lot of this would have to be on the honor of everyone's word.

Like "Even though I'm the prize, I need to leave for a few hours. Can we just pick up where we left off when I come back?

I dunno, I'm thinking too much? o.O;

Actually I like that idea. You could get stuck with someone you find very boring. In which case a break would needed. (not that otakus are boring >.<) How about if we give the "prize" a total break time of an hour and a half not including bathroom breaks or emergencies? How they use that hour is their own choice.

I was thinking that the person who bid the highest during the entire auction should get a gift basket. ^^ I bought arround ten mangas to stick in there. Incentive to bid higher....yosha

Yes, I believe that be be very fair.

I mean, if you put yourself in the auction, you're aware that you might get stuck with someone who is boring or makes you uncomfortable. But even so, it was your own choice, and you need to be with that person because it was your own decision, and they paid. XD

But the break IS necessary, I believe. >_<

I wonder if this is really okay? Who could be asked to clear this idea, I wonder?

i dont think this will work because all it will take is one rabid yaoi fan girl (yes over 18) to buy a naruto and a sasuke say to one
"okay sasuke, here's your bitch GO!!!!"
then she'll want a refund when she dosent get her wanted results, or when she does we'll be sheilding kids eyes...
so it will have to be one per customer

I think it'll work so long as anything even remotely sexual is completley off limits.

Well, unless for some reason the winning bidder and the prize decided to get it on of their own accord.

Elsewise, there should just be a no doing anything/ making the prize do anything sexual rule.

Well extreme cases of PDA will be off limits. We don't need bidders running around doing things to their pirze. Their are minors at the con after all. Their is a line they can not cross.

As for the one per customer. I'm going to be auctioned off with a matching sasuke in a pair >.>;; She's clingy...won't leave Naruto's side. Mwuahaha....I have this effect on people.

Kumoricon staff has approved the idea and it has become an official con event. Mwuahaha. It will be held sunday from 8-10. I still have to find out the room. So everything is set up and approved...now I just have to recruit people. Maybe I should post an official topic. Yes I will do this and hope it doesn't get locked or deleted.
