I was on the Artist Alley Table down at the end by the long set of windows sandwiched between SJen and Bastette. ^ ^;  I'd totally do a comission for you if you'd like. If you wanna see more of my stuff I've got it at DA and Y!Gallery

Back on topic, I had a bunch of series that I had on hold because I hadn't made time for them between work and other stuff.  Well, for another "emotionally unavailable"  friend that I fell for, I made time to watch a few of them and helped him fill in eps that he was missing... *blush*  I'm certain his girlfriend knew NOTHING of my intentions. ^_^;[/quote]
Am I on one of those hidden camera shows?

I have well over $1000 worth of manga...about $11 of that is taken up by Ouran High School Host Club # 3 & 6 in Japanese.
I plan on getting more.

Major <3 to Kinokuniya & Uwajimaya for housing it.

Also -
I fight over manga volumes with my friends.  I almost bit once.  ._.
In the store.
>_____>;

Oh, and I have Hello Kitty pajamas.
And a Fullmetal Alchemist calendar.
And I draw fanart.

Last but not least...I started cosplaying at 6 years old.

300+ manga and almost half of those are in Japanese.

I went on a bit of a manga-splurge when I went to Japan. :oops:

I was upset though because I asked several of the people who were doing fan art comissions if they could do Chun Li for me and none of them knew who I was talking about or what she looked like ;-;

That's sad.  Even my mom knows who Chun Li is, and she hates anime & fighting-genre video games.

I would have drawn her for ya, but I suck.

Yeah... I saw the Street Fighter movie when I was younger... and saw my innocence shattered before my eyes.  Heheh... okay, maybe not.  But man, it was bad.  Oh, the bad acting and the bad lines.  Rest In Peace, Raol Julia.

ChunLi: So.  Do I still get that interview?
Guile: Only if you wear that dress.

Ugh!  Then the scene where Bison traps them in that room and gasses them. "UGH!!! GAS!!!!"

Mortal Kombat Annihilation was a close second.  The first was great and with the charas from MK 2 and 3 to be in it, I had high hopes.  But I along with a good percentage of the people in the theater started booing as the credits rolled.  I wanted to see Millena expose her hideous Baraka face. ^_^;

There was one thing you've gotta love about the SF movie.
Well two things...

M Bison's "Defense Network" used the arcade machin controls to blow things up.

The other thing was E Honda and (....was it Balrog?) going godzilla all over the model city while fighting.

In other words, it was only good when it wasn't taking itself seriously.

I've been holding off on getting my first Tattoo.  I gave myself the condition that I'd get it if I ever got down to 170 lbs or a 30" waist.  Closest I got was 190 lbs and 33".  Then I got a day job and am WAY farther than I was in January.    If i were to get one now, I'd get one of the Ouendan symbol because gamewise, that's my current obsession.

Another idea I thought of was getting LeiLei's (Hsienko's) talisman on my back between my shoulder blades because I'm a big fan of the Darkstalkers/Vampire series. ^_^  Of course, I hear getting a tatt anywhere down your spinal column hurts like a mofo. ^ ^;

its a curse in my family that if you play batman when your a kid you get hurt doing so

my uncle had broken his arm and when implored by his mother (my grandmother) what happened (remember he was about 6) he replied "Batman cant fly *cries*"

and myself, I legally died for two minutes and was ressesatated by my father who was on duty on the fire dep. responding to the call

so the point of this is I loved batman . . . and put my life in danger pretenmding to be him . . . even though common sense is a huge issue here

ps superjaz I dont mean to dis on your friend just hearing batman reminded me of it

No.  In fact, I chose not to see it in theatre because of Jean Claude Van Dam.  I hate that guy.  Plus, portraying Guile as the hero; ew!  I saw it for the first time on video about three or four years ago.

I was pissed that neither Dee Jay nor Dhalsim were fighters, that Honda was Samoan, that Chun Li was ugly, that Ken & Ryu were more like comic relief, that Sagat was a deusche,  that Balrog was a good guy, and on a final note, the one that pissed me off the most, BLANKA!  He was not Charlie!  Whoever came up with that idea should die a very, VERY slow death & become Satan's rape victim for the rest of eternity.

Yeah, the defense network was hilariously beautiful.  As for the Godzilla fight, it was against Zangief, and it was kinda funny.

You forgot when Bison had Chun Li captured & she was rambling on about her daddy.

Bison: "You haven't so much as even thrown a punch."
Chun Li: "That's just what I wanted you to think."
She breaks her handcuffs, Bison's shocked expression, (F YEAH!), and her kicking his butt!  Best scene in the movie!

Okay, back to the love thing.  I love going to school, which is starting up on Monday.  YIPPY!

I'd think twice about that.  I can't think of a single thing that I though was really cool ten years ago that I feel the same way about now, or at least that I'd be proud to have permanently attached to my body now.  Remember, you can't just get rid of this like a coat that's no longer fashionable.

Do you really want television stuff written on your body for the rest of your life?

Hehe... That's a big reason why I put such stringent factors on myself before I get a tatt.  I can't decide on something I'd be happy with for the rest of my life. ^ ^;;;
