So, we've got "what are you listening to" for music, "what are you watching" for anime/movies, so I thought it was about time to whip out the last form of entertainment left (aside from books): What are you currently playing?

So, unsure of whether this fits better in spam or gaming, I'll just drop it off here. So, tell me, what are you gamers out there currently playing?

As for me, Kahlan and I are currently slaying our way through Final Fantasy XII. Good stuff, oh how it is good stuff!

Ah, I forgot about the staples of my gaming existence, those being Guitar Hero 1 & 2, Mario Party (any), Mario Kart: Double Dash, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. ^_^ Party games are TEH best.

Twilight Princess (off and on)
Unreal Tournament (Original, only FPS that runs flawlessly on my laptop)
The Billards (Japanese Import for the DS, basically pool with a betting system)

Recently the Computer Graphics class has been lan-ing the demo for the original Halo game in the computer lab during class. I have a free period that period, so I usually join them.

used to be playing EQ 2 (woot!!) but kinda been not playing it in recent months i had been playing ff XII till my 3rd party expandable memory pack erased itself somehow and i ended up with was left on the other smaller card >( . but right now i go between chaos legion and dragon ball z: Dudokai 3 (yes dbz show kinda sucked after a while but this game never gets old) got all the way up to the hardest com lvl and and can win every other match in duel mode

I ought to be finishing or at least progressing my FF12 game, but no.

I've been goofing around with Guitar Hero and Castelvania, Symphony of the night (as Richter by now).

I play a little UT on our office LAN at work every day, but it's all with bots since the lan broke last year (they fired the guy who was maintaining the network).

Never have I heard of such a thing? Is it anything like Pikmin or any other cute little tiny fluffy cutesy teeny tiny adorable creature type game?

Mmm I haven't ever played pikmin, it's like fairly old and it's a thinking game where you have to guide these cute little creatures (you choose the features) through various tasks, most of them revolving around the features you picked, you try to get them to their new city (from their old one which was over run by slavers)

like one of my favorite things is you get stopped along the road by these pizza trolls, and they have this pizza machine and they demand that you make them a pizza. And the first time you go through the map it's pretty easy, but each time you go through each thing it gets harder and harder until it's actually really really hard (for me now even, it was like...impossible as a little kid X3)

and you only have like groups of sixteen go through each time, and their's over six hundred total zoombinis you have to get off the evil island and to the city.

anyways, yeah...it's super fun

Sounds really cute! I dig the whole "guide your creatures through the quests" type games, like lemmings, etc. They're nice and fun.

Just got my boyfriend's N64 shipped to us from Colorado and then I got him a SNES for his birthday so we've been playing lotsa old school. Mainly all 3 DKs and Perfect Dark, Mario Party 1, and Ocarina of Time.

Right now I'm playing Tales of Symphonia for Gamecube. I've beaten it like a million times and it's still fun. One of the best RPG's i've played.

Woot Same here with Pokemon Diamond. Just went to Best buy and got that and Yugioh World Championship 2007. Oh I can feel the power of geekdom ebbing inside me :shock: Oh hey I am very curious is there any real differense between the old DS (which I have) and the DS Lite. I mean enough to pay another 129 dollars to get it. The only real disapointment I have is the fact that the new web browser they are coming out with for the DS only works with the lite version as far as I heard.

From what I remember hearing the DS Lite has a brighter screen, is smaller, and the stylus is a different size (I want to say a smaller stylus but I never had a regular DS).
