But Oedipus Rex is part of a greek trilogy by Sophocles it has nothing to do with Medival england

Yeah, I know.  And the class knows.  But it still happened.

Of course, this is the same prof that will randomly start talking in Anglo Saxon, Latin, or Ancient Greek, and will continue to talk in said language for an entire class period if someone doesn't raise their hand to remind her that most of the class doesn't understand those languages fluently.
