Here is my question.
I'm going as Chise from Saikano this year to Kumoricon '07, would anyone be willing to be some of the other characters from the series? It won't be that hard to recognize me [BLUSH]
I'll be wearing LOTS of bandages -SIGH-
Well if you are interested, I would be more than willing to have some people to pose with for those fans who know of this amazing manga series.

Anyone interested to have the ultimate weapon posing with them?

I'm just going in her casual school uniform, in the first manga with bandages and whatnot.

But I really hope someone will dress up as some of the other characters, this manga deserves some loving. <333

Ohh!! what volume are you on? I finished it quite sometime ago, it's loveeeeee. even though I cried so hard throughout the books, some of the pages in that manga have slight water damage [BLUSH]

here is a summary of the first manga, I hope it's good enough.

Shuji and Chise are high school seniors in a small town. They have just started dating thanks to the matchmaking of their mutual friend, Akemi. Meanwhile, the city of Sapporo is attacked from the air. However, a counterattack by Japan's Self Defense Forces (SDF) saves the city from total destruction.

Soon after this attack, Shuji discovers that Chise has been engineered by the SDF so that she can transform herself into a powerful weapon when she is summoned on a mission...the ultimate weapon they call her.
so what is a man to do when he finds out his girlfriend is the ultimate weapon?

the manga is a seven volume, depressing to a point where you question life. it's a wonderful series.

yay! I'm glad you will. It's a terriffic series.
though the manga is sooo much better than the anime. though in most situations, it always is.<33
