Halloween?
« on: August 20, 2007, 12:15:44 am »
Okay, I know Halloween can be a lot like Cosplaying, but sometimes not as expensive. So.....any ideas how I can get a decent costume, without a job, without sewing skills, and in a month? Hah, I'm worthless.  ::)

So, seeing as I have been a witch for the past EIGHT FRICKIN' YEARS IN ROW [Cha, I'll burn every witch hat I see!!!!  >:( ], I want something different and maybe with a funky colored wig.

Only 3 people in my school have seen an anime....Yeah, I know. I AM SERIOUS.

Maybe Sakura from Naruto, pretty popular, but.....expensive?

Suggestions, help, waaaaaaah!!

there's always a ninja? just wear all black, But seriously if you want to learn to sew check with your local craft stores. A few of them offer free lesson, and even if they don't they might be able to direct you to someone you does. It will make cosplay and Halloween a lot better when you can tell people you made a costume yourself.

you may be able to borrow a costume, or if you've got a little bit of money, you could always buy a used costume from another cosplayer...(what do you want to wear and how much you willing to pay (max) ? )

Hmmm, probably about $50 max, including the wig. Er, I can't wear anything TOO revealing....
