Uwajimaya is selling yukatas, not kimonos. There is a difference.
Kimonos are worn with an obi and sash, while yukatas are just worn with a sash. Yukatas are also tied on much differently, and are only worn in one light layer. Kimonos, depending upon how fancy they are, can go anywhere from two layers to fifty.
Yeah, I'm looking into making/buying my own kimono to wear, but tying an obi is extremely difficult, and I suck enough at tying my shoes as it is. ^.^;
