TAHITIAN VANILLA POCKY!!!

As some of you know, I am vacationing in Canada right now. I'm in my hotel room right now and I couldn't wait to tell you guys that I have acquired THREE boxes of Tahitian Vanilla Pocky They have craploads of it here and I decided that Pocky Club needs to stop suffering from vanilla-y goodness! Corpsic, the summer specials from Glico this year are Coconut and Tahitian vanilla. The Pocky website posted these back in June and while we've seen some coconut boxes in Portland we never found the vanilla. They have coconut every year nad they've traditionally had some very good flavors on the summer specials. Last year the unveiled Pineapple and the year before was Chocolate Banana. unfortunately they never seem to bring these flavors back. since the summer specials are always popular I've been very eager to sample some of the Tahitian Vanilla.


In other news, I have assembled all of the ingredients for the Pocky Picinic basket and will be making a related thread about that soon!

Tahiti is one of the few places Vanilla can grow.  The varietal grown there is called Tahitian Vanilla.

I have never heard of Spanish Vanilla, though.

Well I just talked to my dad and he'd prefer you to pay me...considering the exchange rate is pretty much 1:1 now D: I don't have the receipt cos I got it at a small store but I think it's 1.79 per box plus tax [so it was about 6 dollars total]

Eeee I'm so tempted to keep a box to myself to taste it
