Unusual FF or Other Cosplay

I'll be spending at least one day as Kaze from Final Fantasy Unlimited....

Is there anyone else out there cosplaying as a character from that series, or just another odd costume?

:shock: I *LOVE* that series!! I've always wanted to cosplay Ai or Yu, but haven't gotten around to it.

IDK much about FFU, but I might cosplay as Jenova from FFVII (BTW luv ur av. ^-^ )

I've been toying with the idea of a Paladin Cecil from FFVI for quite a while...  You don't really have much to go on from the 16 bit graphics though...

There is all of the Official art that came after, but it's crazy elaborate...  It sets the bar kinda high...  Like I said, I've been thinking about this particular cosplay for quite a while, and I've kind of started to have an idea of how I would want it to look...  The earliest I would do this cosplay is probably Sakura-con next year though, since I'm already planning three cosplays for Kumori con.

That'd be IV, actually.

I'm the one with the Quina costume. I've only ever seen one other Quina cosplayer (on fansview), and it was a skinny guy.

And last year I saw some Legend of the Crystals cosplayers! Whoo!

AHHH!!! Sweet! Im going as Cid (just finished my body suit) and I was sure that no one would be cosplaying from FFU because its so undercosplayed (also that no one would recognise it).
I will deffiantly lookout for you! We need to have group pictures!

Haha this totally made my day, now I cant wait for Kumoricon!

Haha! I'm glad I made your day...but I'll only be Kaze on Monday, or if I get tired of prancing about in my other costumes. Are you gonna be Cid on Monday?

I will hopefully be wearing it alot, considering it will probablly be one of my easier costumes to put on (yay for using your own hair!) Plus Im pretty much devoting my whole summer to making his backpack really freaking kickass (it will light up where it needs to, and have a little keyboard and everything... if only I was crazy enough to make the magnet hammers)
So yes, I will wear it on monday! Im trying to convince my friends to go as characters too, so maybe we could have a sweet group XD

That would be so full of awesome I can't even stand it!

EDIT: Oh man, i just got confirmation from my big bro that he'll be doing Makenshi on Monday too. All we need now is a Madoushi and a Moogle Kupo.

Im trying to convince my friend to be Lisa, but she refuses :( Maybe I can make her be someone else.

In 2008 I'm going to try and con my friend to go as Balthier so I can be Fran from FFXII. I doubt it'll work since he wont want to bleach his hair two years in a row (He's going as Archer this year) but I can try. XD

Yes! You should make it, it would be such a cute addition. I was thinking about making frog cid to carry around too XD becuase thats my favorite episode. Either that or a tool box full of gundam toys, because that scene was so funny. Haha Im getting wayyyy too into this costume.
First things first though, I need to get a new zipper to sew into my suit. The one I bought before wasnt long enough...

We're making heartless plushies. ^_^ (kingdom hearts) I think you can get pretty decent teddy bear patterns from JoAnnes that can be altered, though I haven't actually attempted it yet. ^_^

And TsukikoAiko, Balthier is my fave, make your friend do it. <3
