"Regifting" is OK, it all needs to be Convention appropriate gifts. That means that it's Japanese, anime, or manga related and meets the PG-13 requirements. I think that the cost requirement should be ignored, mostly since some of us have stuff we don't mind giving away that would cost a lot *eyes his DVD shelf*. We could say that you can't buy anything new over like, 40 bucks. That would still let people buy CDs or videos if they wanted (even if they're imports).

More importantly, I think there should be a minimum gift for all of the poor people on the boards. Like, two boxes of Pocky. Different flavors even! How's that sound?

I like Totemo's idea of a maximum size, lets say backpack. People have to be able to get it home after all.
