I am not a mod so I can't put this in the Meetings sections. *shrug*

This Sunday will be another General Meeting in Salem and I hope to see a lot of you there.

Details:Open to the public. Agenda TBD.

Location:Salem Public Library, Anderson B room
101 Liberty St SE, Salem, OR 97301

The time is 2pm to 5pm.

Since the meeting room is listed the same way as the meeting in March was, I'd like to request that we appropriate both halves of the meeting area if no one is using the other one. It was really cramped in there last time, especially with all those laptop cords.

I'm looking forward to talking with the Programming staff about what new events we'll have this year (like cosplay chess) and I always like seeing the registration numbers. I also want to take part in the Yojimbo training so I know all of our policies (you'd think I'd have done that at some point in all my years with the convention).

I think I'll be able to make it this weekend... Guy can't go as he'll be in TX at Pyrofest (lucky sod). Anyway, looks like it's time for me to get writing on all those panel suggestions... :shock:

The meeting is this coming Sunday, at the Library. At 2. (I'll copy that stuff into the first post.)

Hmmm, Vallie and I definitely need to be at this meeting and I need to go to the Programming huddle afterwards. So if you want to go home maybe we can offer leashy some gas money and company.

I'll wait for Vallie to chime in....

so the P is the parking structure where you'll usually have to park.
The ^ is the sidewalk garden to the Library.
The La and other stuff is the library building. You can enter at the main entrance of the - or around the back at the , you see you have to go downstairs in the back of the building to get to the room. there's a slope so if you park in the lot to the side where the word "west?" is you'll be able to walk down and straight in the door where the room is.
Did anybody who hasn't been there catch all that?

HUH? :? How 'bout we post signs on the entrance doors & on the door to the room? That'll be soooo much easier. Runa is good at getting lost, but Runa can read signs...

You're no fun. There's signs in the library. One of them is a neon sign in fact. We always put up at least one sign anyway.

Just ask one of the many librarians where Anderson Room is.

Vallie and Tom, I should be able to bring you guys if I could like meet you somewhere easy in portland maybe off of the MAX line, if that really wouldn't work I could probably get you in beaverton haha I just am not sure what I am doing saturday =D

Thank you for the offer hun!! I actually got an offer from Mike who lives on the same side of town as us so it's a little more convenient all around.

However, still totally want to hang out. If everyone has time after the meeting, we should all go out for dinner or something.

I wont be there either. Combo of no firm ride and I have so much to do for work today i'm scrubbing and painting walls then building a wall of costume racks. So no Mustaches for Mr Mustache, No AOD in Necronomicon pouch for Washy, No rifts for Tom etc, No ladies foundation garment leather sample for she knows who she is. A few weeks? Wow... I seriously thought we'd have it within the next few days...

Mustash, as you're one of my volunteers, you will be receiving a basic rundown of what happened at the meeting from me tomorrow.

I was going to wait until the meeting minutes were up so that I could forward something more official along to the volunteers... But if it's really going to take a few weeks before we see them, I'll just send out the usual update that I normally give to the volunteer mailing list, and follow up with the more official stuff later.

Also, as you're a member of Pocky Club, you'll probably also hear something from Tom about it as well fairly soon. His will probably be more detailed than mine as he takes lots of notes.

It's my pleasure to say that this was one of the most informative and (imho) productive meetings I've seen in a long time. Thanks to everyone who showed up and to all the higher ups.

I just wish that I could've sat in with the OPS meeting AND the Prog meeting. Oh well. Sailor V. I'll go to a Yojimbo meeting later.

If you missed the meeting, come hang out before Pirates 3 on Saturday!
