What kind of camera do y'all take cosplay pics with?

This is actually mostly a topic to brag that I just got a 10-megapixel powershot A640 as a birthday gift, but I'm kinda curious too.  How many people use expensive digi-cams, and how many just pick up a disposable?  How many people actually use film these days?

I use digital, only because it's convenient. I would love to use my old school pentax, which takes far better pictures, but it's huge and I would have to end up constantly changing the film...

I use a digital camera, but I also could go for the fourth option, cause eeeeveryone loves Vincent Valentine. ^_^

When I bother to BRING my camera, that is! I usually forget to bring it. I probably should've picked the "what camera? I pose for pictures" option, but occasionally I wish I DID bother to bring it along. Yeah, it's a bit old -- a Canon Powershopt A40 we purchased for our 2002 trip to Japan -- but it was relatively inexpensive, has a zoom, accepts the same (somewhat large in today's terms) size disks as our older camera from the mid-90s, and talks to my computer...    I suppose I could upgrade, but the only time we really bother thinking about taking photographs is when we are going on a major vacation (in other words, we MAY upgrade our camera when we go to Japan this September, and perhaps I might actually purchase one that takes the smaller disks...)

Canon S3 SI digital.  Just this side of a dSLR that takes great pictures and not as bulky.  Last year I took my took my old school Minolta Maxxum and had all the pictures processed onto disk.  Really time consuming for processing and carrying it around for the duration was not fun.

I have a 3 MP olympus point and shoot that needs to be replaced.

I use the Canon D230 I bought 3-4 years ago refurbished for around $200 or so. Works fine for me.

I had just yer run-o'-the-mill digi-cam, worked good, nothin' too fancy, but then 'nii-san damaged it during his trip to London, and after that I couldn't even find it to try to fix it.

So for Sakura-con I had t'use sucky li'l disposables, and (when those ran out my phone-cam)

I really hope that I can make enough money to buy a nice new (higher quality) digi-cam in time for this years K-con *crosses fingers*
