Please Help A Narutard Out! T_T
« on: July 30, 2007, 07:58:21 pm »
Okay, so my three friends and I are doing a Naruto skit for the cosplay, and there is a small bit where four or five girls will run onstage and try to molest Sasuke. Then they will be sprayed (LIGHTLY! Dont worry!) with water, and then run back offstage.

If anyone is interested, please reply. We are in desperate need of other girls. You can be dressed up in your cosplay attire or not, we don't care. ^_^

Perhaps a better wording would make this sound better and, thus, attract more attention. Molest just has such negative connotations, maybe glomp would suffice, considering the manner of the Con. ^_^

And I'm not a girl, but best of luck finding people.

Okay. ^_^
Thanks guys!
We'll have to find a place and time to meet, and then you can just run onstage. You'll be sprayed lightly with water from a windex bottle, but it won't be enough to soil makeup or costumes. If any of you have an idea where to meet, tell me.

Er, not quite...  the container should spray NOTHING -- use a sound effect of spraying but have an empty container on stage (no one is going to be able to see the water anyway)

Per the rules:
* No fire, flame, smoke, fog, dry ice, wind machines, lasers, pressurized gases or liquids
* No messy substances – wet, dry, or oily – in the green room or on stage.

The point of prohibiting wet stuff (and the other things) is so we don't make the stage slippery / dangerous for other contestants. Any water dripping onto stage could become a slipping hazard and some other cosplayer could slip, fall, and be hurt badly. Another reason is that the overspray may eventually ruin the costume of the next person who goes on stage (which is unfair to that contestant). The final reason for prohibiting it is because the hotel can get mad at us or charge us extra if we spill stuff on the stage...
