Staff area launched

The staff area of the web site has launched. Everyone with an account has been emailed their username and password. There might be a few rough edges or glitches so be sure to email webmaster@kumoricon.org if you experience any problems.

There are still a very few registered staff who haven't had accounts created (in all but one case these are people who have registered sometime after the February meeting). I'll post again at the point when you should worry if you haven't gotten an email about a staff account yet. :)

Please be on the lookout for any incorrect information entered in your account, or information that has changed since you submitted your staff registration form. We might have even just made some transcription errors (the information was copied from the forms into a spreadsheet, and then from the spreadsheet manually into our web system). We apologize for any errors but if you email personnel@kumoricon.org they will be fixed. Thanks. ^_^

EDIT: Clarification and fix: If there are problems with the web site itself, please email webmaster@kumoricon.org. If you need to update, or correct, errors in the information on your profile page, please email personnel@kumoricon.org. Thanks.

Repeating the front page post here...

The accounts creation is now complete for forms submitted up to and at the February meeting. If you are registered staff and have not received the email containing your account information, it might be because of one of the following reasons:
  • Your email address has changed since you submitted your registration form.
  • Your email address was written incorrectly, or we transcribed it incorrectly.
  • There is a problem with your mail system receiving the message. (The message will be sent from wordpress@kumoricon.org.)
  • You have not actually registered as staff. (You are not considered official staff until submitting the form signed by your director.)
  • Forms submitted after the February meeting might not have been entered yet. We will create accounts for these shortly after the March meeting.

If you are missing the account welcome message, please email webmaster@kumoricon.org and include your name and the email address that you want to use with the staff account (if you don't specify, we'll assume it's the email address from which you sent the message). If you know that your email address has changed, please include the old address also. Thank you!

Update: All web site staff accounts have now been created for anyone who registered at or before the July meeting.

If you have not yet received an email from wordpress@kumoricon.org with your username and password, then check the first post in this thread for possible reasons. If you know you submitted a signed form, then please email webmaster@kumoricon.org with your email address, and include your old email address (the one you wrote on the form) if it has changed.

If you have not submitted a form, then you need to do so to become staff.
