well friday night when i got home there was a trail of a dozen roses leading to my bed room (which had been cleaned up) where there was another dosen roses and chris my boyfriend said that he dosent do romantic stuff for me enough then he said he loved me and i make him happy and he wanted me to be with him forever and asked me to marry him!!!
i hugged him really tightly which he took for a yes and it was
then i got a sparkly ring with 3 sapphires and 6 little diamonds set in white gold (will post pic later)

so me and kendo boyfriend are gonna get married!!!
(tho not for a bit as i want to finish school first and i have 1 more year)

does that make him kendo fiancee?

Congratulations on your getting engaged! Oh, I bet it was so magical and romantic. I most certainly can't wait until such a thing happens to me. I can only imagine your excitement and happiness. Still, I wish you two the best of luck and happiness for years to come.

thanks every one, considering we met at a baka-zoku/pocky club meet up we might not have met if not for kumoricon
first off no pocky cake, if anything i can see having a white mage and black mage cake toppers
our colors are (i say our but its my choice

) are sapphire blue (to match my ring) silver and white
yay iz gonna get married,...wouldn't it be cool to have it at edgefield?

Ya know.... at Sakura Con (i think it was in '05 or '06) they did a wedding as the cosplay "halftime" show (the time when the judges figure out who won). The wedding was officiated by a justice of the peace and the bride walked in to the darth vader theme... all the wedding attendees were cosplaying as various characters. it was most amusing...

I still have one year of collage left and can you imagine studying for finals while planning a wedding?
so that takes us to summer of 08 and kendo fiancee (dosent have same ring as kendo boyfriend so lets call him Mr. nezbitt!) any way mr.nezbit has baaaaaddd allergys so summer wedding is a no, the fall is crowded with holidays, if we wait till January we can have our wedding right around our dating anniversary

the bright side is this far ahead we have lots of options where we can have it

And a Kcon wedding shindig would be so much fun -- this year's Kcon can kind of be like your engagement party! So exciting!!!

yes i will be welcoming ANY help i can get as neither of us has planned a wedding before its a little scary to be torn between wanting a great party and not wanting to go into debt, talk about it on saterday

those of you have met Chris aka kendo-boy know that is is an utter sweetie and spoils me rotten (well at least as much as credit card debt will alow :3) ie taking me to hyde concert last year i am so lucky to have found him

as for kids bite yo tong, at least not for another few years after we married, then when we do have a kid some day, i'm so gonna go as lulu from ffX and dress the child as either a moogle or a tonsberry

hey i tried calling you like 3 times (i have 2 sarahs in my phone and wasnt sure which was you atares otherwise woulda called you too) but yeah we just got it sized so it fits perfectly

I done texted but it looks really blurry in the picture. Camera phones ain't the best but you'll get to see it in person on saturday. Still waiting on Chris to post pictures of the ring.

You know I'm not sure if it was Kumoricon or not... I'm thinking it was Sakura-Con, my sisters friend really did want to have her wedding at the convention and open to anyone who wanted to come in and watch that was a convention attendee but they said no, a few years back. You should completely talk Kumoricon into it.

Chris wasn't to hot on the idea..
he is catholic tho so when we have our traditional wedding its going to be a catholic wedding (just not the long one) but for the cosplay one theres so much to consider should our "minister" be dressed from the anime we are dressed from or waaa
