For those of you who, like me, rely largely or entirely on public transit, you really need to read this Service Alert from Tri-Met regarding the #6 line:

http://trimet.org/alerts/6_mlkjr_sept07.htm

In short, it states that service to Vancouver via the #6 will cease on September 2nd of this year. This means you will be taking a one way trip on the #6 to Kumoricon if you intend to stay for the duration of the event. According to the service update, however, they will be running a shuttle bus on the return trip, so don't let the somewhat dramatic phrasing of the previous line scare you.

Thought it might be good to bring this to everyone's attention, since I noticed the alert when planning my trip!

http://www.c-tran.com/Updates/Temporary_Shuttle.html
sunday 9\2 Ctran is running a shuttle from delta park stopping at JB and going to 7th street TC, runs every 15 minutes till 11pm then 30 minutes. i think 6:30am to 12:30am
Ctran has honored trimet fares before.

If we do have the same place next year it says the #4 CTRAN bus will be taking over those stops.

Wait. So what about us who aren't staying at the hotel? I need to get there and back home all three days, and I'm not very familiar with the buses that run around the near-vancouver-but-still-in-portland-area.
There's some sort of bus that's not Trimet that crosses the river into Portland, right?

P.S. I've tried looking up ways to get there and back already, and so far nothing's been too helpful.

Gah. You're right. I'm so sorry.
I'm filled with exhaustion and lame-ness today. Thanks for correcting me and steering me in the right direction yet again.
