Well... as an adult... maybe still 'young' in there since I just live with room-mates and have only had 3 Xmases away from the parents... it's pretty much down to me to get my self things.
Two 1680x1050 LCDs, each $170 on black friday (no sales tax Oregon... but we get hit in the income taxes), lovely dual widescreen desktop.
Some new case fans, and 2gb of ECC DDR2-800 memory to double what's in the mega-server/mythtv box. Only Gigabyte's being stingy with mobo firmware and the latest officially released version doesn't support more then 32bit addressing, even if your bothering with a 64 bit os (I am, Gentoo Linux in amd64 mode...) So I only see 2.75gb of ram in that box.
Oh, and a new dry and new wet (Bissell, like rug doctor, kind of) carpet cleaning things from Costco with the Oregon Kicker check thing. However how could I possibly count THOSE as presents? It'd be like me buying a lawn mower and calling it a preset instead of turning the yard in to a Zen Rock Garden (I'm pretty sure that's what I want to do when I stop living in an Apt...)
