I suppose a spoiler thread would work.

I might add two cautions to this...

First, if you solve it, obviously you have proof that it works.
Second, if you have a proof that it doesn't work, it will likely be fairly long, or since we're informal, be concrete enough for you to 'prove' to your self that you are correct.

Third, we're all human, very likely not professionals in this field, and fallible in general... take EVERYONE with a grain of salt.

Fourth, most of the fun in math like this is the journey, posting solutions just kills the buzz.
