The Adventures of Ghost Negima
« on: March 27, 2008, 09:44:40 am »
So I hope you have all seen the videos where I explain about Negima being in Hawaii...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCBCKeuxnfc

and then introduced Ghost Negima at the Pocky Club meeting...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkTuAuf4b4g

and the original thread where the joke came from...
http://www.kumoricon.org/forums/index.php?topic=6340.0

So now I can introduce the newest story in the Legend of Ghost Negima.

This weekend, Negima Chris will be going to Sakuracon, in spirit anyway. I'm making this thread so that we can post pictures of Ghost Negima on his adventures.

The best part is that you can "summon" the Spirit of Negima yourself!
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/377536/halloween_crafts_handkerchief_ghosts.html

Here's what you'll need.
2 or three tissues (like a Kleenex tissue)
1 hair tie or rubber band
1 #2 pencil
1 black sharpie

Ball up one  of the tissues (or two if you ball them tight) and drape the second tissue over the top of it.
Pull the corners of the tissue down so that they are all bundled together at the "bottom" and pinch the tissue just below where it comes together below the ball.
Wrap the rubber band or hair tie around the part you ar pinching to create the "neck" of the ghost.
Tug and adjust the rubber band and tissues so that the ball is even and round and there are no folds on the ghosts head. Also try and make sure that the bottom corners of the tissue are even and spread out to make a proper flowing ghost sheet!
Find a smooth side of the ghosts head to draw ghost Negima's glasses and a friendly smile.
Finally put the pencil inside the tissues and up into the rubberband neck to give Ghost Negima a stand.

Now you have your very own Ghost Negima to go on adventures with and take pictures of!

Show us where your Ghost Negima was so Chris can be there in spirit!

Another version of the recipe can be found here.

It's really frustrating to me that I get a sweet digital video camera that takes pictures but the picture quality ends up being lame. It also has no flash bulb at all so the lighting on my pictures is usually pretty lame.

Though I have an idea of where your spirit will be this weekend.
