Friday night registration question

So I've heard that if I go Friday night that people who have pre-reg'd can get their lanyards and stuff can do it then so they don't have to wait in line on Saturday. Is that true? Also, can people register at the door on Friday as well? I have a friend who might come for just one day (Saturday) but I don't want him to spend forever trying to register at the door.

I don't know about the second question but I can verify that yes, if you have pre-reg'd then you can pick up your stuff and "check-in" on Friday as opposed to having to do it Saturday. That's when you would get your lanyard and swag-bag.

We are currently finalizing plans for allowing some people to register at con on Friday night.  Look for an announcement on the main page when tier 3 ends.  Your friend will need to follow the guidelines we are going to set to be able to do this.

Plan for 6pm to 10pm. That's been our goal for the past couple years, but things may change if we get things set up sooner or later than usual.

Thank you Tom <3 Yes we are planning around 6-10pm for the pre-regged people that want to check in that night to check in if they want to. Keep in mind that if you show up later in the evening we may have a cut off time for getting into line for the Friday night check in depending on the number of people we still have in line. Also please remember to have your ID and any parental forms signed and ready when you get there. As for the people registering at con, as rathany said, look for the announcement on whether that is final or not and if it does become available, what qualifies you to register that night.

Hmmm, having to wait for Kahlan until she gets off work, we will probably get to the hotel about 6:00. I'd like to get there earlier, but oh well. At least I'll still be able to get my stuff.
