it SHOULD work, it just might take some bitching and finding someone who has actually seen one. i think they have only been doing that for a year or two and since most people who work the door dont also work at say...i dunno a bar or somewhere else you check ids all the time they might not be familiar with them. my fiance and i had a similar problem before they sent us his new permit, we had to convince someone it was a real id, i dont remember where it was though.
