Okay I figured out the phone problem XD
« on: August 13, 2008, 07:41:21 pm »
Has anyone experienced super long delays with their texts? For instance, your friend tells you they sent one right away but you get it like two hours later?

I don't know if it's because of different carriers or phones, but I've been having A LOT of problems today with my phone. I'm talking a delays of up to 3 or 4 hours (I've been doing tests with my friend).

I've restarted my phone, and it still has this problem. Does anyone know how to solve it?

Press the call button, email, or IM.

Can't do that if they're out of state or not online.

What cell provider do you have? Some are upgrading their systems currently and that could be causing the delays.

How long has it been going on?

T-mobile. Pretty much all day long.

T-mobile.
Found your problem.

Actually, try texting me and I'll text back as soon as I get it. (PM'ing you my number; don't give it to anyone you wouldn't trust with a tank.)

Working on it.

@ Mustash: and it now it takes about 30 secs to a minute to send it, and if not that it says "retry?" and I hit yes and then it takes forever again D:

I'd call Tmobile support and ask what's up. Or go into a store and have them look at your phone to see if it's dead for some reason.

You could also try resetting your phone to factory settings and see if that fixes things. Just make sure to save your contacts to your SIM card first!

I've reset it to factory settings already...it didn't fix the problem D:

All right problem solved! I called t-mobile and they said it's a global networking problem; for the next 24 hours I'm gonna have problems sending and receiving text messages and calls. Damn.

Aughhhh 24 hours @___@
