I know the topic's a little old, but I didn't see any others for this panel, and I didn't feel worthy of making a new one...
In any case, I'd like to say that this panel was AWESOME. In fact, I'm tempted to call it the funnest panel at this year's convention. Even though it was somewhat fangirl-centric, I'm a yuri-loving guy and I had a great time throughout. The panel was organized and hosted terrifically. The powerpoint was nicely made, especially with the inclusion of Jun in the bishoujo picture. The highlight of it was definitely the storytelling, which I'd be willing to say didn't have a single bad or boring story in it. I was the one who told the tale of buying an Elfen Lied doujinshi at Sakuracon, and finding out that the Japanese artist happened to be at the convention...an hour before I had to leave, and after their signing session. ; ;
This panel also housed perhaps the most surreal moment of the entire convention for me. That is, seeing to girls make out, and a room full of yaoi fangirls squeel because they're dressed as male characters. I'm not sure whether than whole scene accidentally crossed the line over into unintentional yuri or not, but it was awesome.
Either way, this panel will definitely be a high-priority for me next year. Hope to see you at the next one.
