So, am I going to be upset in about 2 weeks when this series finally makes in to the top of my Netflix queue? I've only seen the first episode, and was intrigued as it seemed to go back in time as far as anime is concerned, not as to animation quality, but in the sense of adventure that anime became popular.

Maybe I am just a little tired of so many anime seeming to me to be strictly for the true otaku. But this series didn't give me that vibe.

To me this anime was just pure fun to watch. And then before I knew it I was emotionally invested. It had a good ending, mabey not the happiest but a good one.
