OK, you guys. If you want to have a good fun time before the con, then come on down to the Lloyd Center Applebee's, which is near the KC con site. It'll be a great, fun time where we can talk and mingle about stuff, and you can come in cosplay! It'll be fun, and it will be Friday, August 29th, at 7pm. I will be in town at around 5 in the afternoon.

Hmmm, this sounds like a good idea. My group always tends to try to make the Friday night very low-key so we can get settled in before all the zaniness begins. We usually go out to eat somewhere, so there is a good chance we might join you for this. ^_^ Good thinking!

My bro, and a friend might come. Not sure it depends on wrk scedules, he gets off at 11 and I get off at 9:30 but I may be able to get out of my shift by taking an earlier one. I'll let you know more after talking to my brother and friend. But it sure does sound fun.

OK- what more to say? I think the gathering will be about an hour or thereabouts........ will do a final check on who will come on Monday, 8/25. If you still want to come, there is still time to post a reply.

I still think it sounds fun, just depends on when/how quickly I get through check-in. Hopefully it will be swift, but who knows? I may end up getting there later than I planned, so we'll just have to play it by ear, I think.

Hmm. I might see if I can get my mom to come. :/ It would be me, my mother, and my brother, probably. Just to be safe. If we stay out late enough, we get to go out to eat and all, but it might be a little iffy because KumoriCon made us tight on moolah.
