I am currenly learning to drive!!
yup only 26 years old

I have gotton my learners and now al i need is the driven test, so i have been praticing, and last nigh i drove to safe way then to taco bell and went thru the drive thru all by my self, then home

and today i drove all the way to my work which has lots of sharp turns,\

the driving test is monday wish me luck

congrats on finding the initiative to go for it! i procrastinate to much.
Is the permit test hard?

So what did you get at the drive through, or was it so traumatic an experience that you cannot remember what you were there for? j/k.

Is it an automatic or stick?

When are you going to learn how to ride a motorcycle?

nah I don't think so, its mostly logic questions I hear. My friend christian never looked at the book or did the pretests, he just did it and passed.

Good luck!! I just recently got mine about 4-5 months ago (at age 23.) Man, is it nice! Especially on rainy days! I don't have to dredge through the rain on my bike anymore. ^_^; And I can actually drive to school (since it's like, 15 miles away.)

I always get the whacky questions when I take the test. I've only taken it twice, but I answer all the questions from a bicyclist's perspective, so while I know what all the signs mean, what most of the buttons do, when I need to turn the lights on, and I'm very defensive and safe, I always fail the test. :/

Gonna just wait until I'm 18 and take the driving test. Gonna go out in a field somewhere with some friends and drive around until I'm comfy then go pass the test and get a scooter with a 49.99cc engine.

WHAT!?!?! why have all of you waited sooo long!?!? As soon as i was old enough i couldn't wait. But congrats for taking the initiative and going for it!! The test is really simple just dont get nervous and you'l do fine. BTW how is it you're allowed to drive by yourself with only a permit?? I thought you needed someone to be with you if you only had a permit? Is Oregon State law different from Washington? Anyway good luck!

Laws are different when you're over 18, but I don't know the details.

yes laws are diff i can go in and do my drivers test at any time, I was going to go on monday but as i got a cold this week i pushed it back a week so not this monday but the next monday

and i got a cheesy bean and rice burito with no festa sauce and and a chicken quesadia with a mt dew n some cinnomin twists

after driving to work the next day, i havent gotton much pratice because i was a little scarred to drive sick

I live in a town where literally every thing is on a single strip of road that is about 1 mile long. Never had much incentive.

for me the wait for driving was partily bad timing, when i was 15 night before i left (parents divorced viseting dad) my dad took me out pratice driving, he had said he would finish teaching me how to drive the next viset.

I am 26 i haven't seen him since, only in the last year found out where he lives

my mom would always say "I'll take you out pratice driving this weekend" and it would never happen
and i didnt puch it much as some times i would not be sure how many aciddents my mom has had in a year me and my brothers have a healthy fear of driving
you might be saying "dont you have a friend or a older brother who could teach you"
older brother can't drive and at the time (well 18-21) I litraly had one friend in the world and he died when i was 21

so to school n such what i did was bus it to and fro
I made some new friends and one took be out a few times driveing but we didnt get along for a while and that stopped and i switched from mt hood to psu
when i went to psu it really wasnt an issue as to lack of parking and $$ and the great bus system

now i have a job that is not convent to get to by bus and they require a valid driers licence,
my fiance chris has been teaching me to drive starring in spring-summer with parking lot driving then working my way up from there

I got sick in the head full of cotton cough sore throat, and my work scedualed me for work the day too, so i moved it to this next monday, dum dum dum!!!

no i got sick, that kinda happens when 3 of your co workers all have colds and your work dosent really have a sick day plans so its find some one to coer your shift or come to work, and i caught my cold at the beging of the work week = exhaustion an sicker at the end of the week
