Possible Auctioneer for Charity Auction?
« on: January 03, 2009, 10:58:59 am »
If the 2009 budget allows, I'd like to suggest contacting (and possibly hiring) hese guys to run the charity auction:

www.benefitauction360.com

We were at another benefit event and they ran the auction it went smoothly and exciting. The auctioneers kept a good, fast pace, and knew how to pull prices (down or up) as they measured the mood.

(PS: I am not connected with that organization in any way, I just asked for one of their business cards because I thought they ran an event very well.)

I tried the link and it didn't work. Then I did a Google search and it pulled up a similar website~

Could it have been this group? They look interesting, but if Kumori Con were to get a professional auctioneer to do the Charity Auction, I'd personally like to go with auctioneers that are more local. But that's just me ^_^.

"This too shall come to pass."

No, I copied the link off their card, and they were local.
Yet another crater in this economic crash, perhaps?

Oh well.
