OK, even though I am not Jewish, I just wanted to say this.
As I see it it's a celebration about a people winning for themselves the right to practice their own religion.
I think that's important for everyone alive.
So enjoy the miracle, spread the good news, and remember that when you choose a religion and even if you choose "none," or "I'm not sure yet," or "other questions are more important to me right now," your freedom to choose exists because of people like Judah Maccabee, who fought for freedom of religion way back then. (Also take a moment to think of people who are defending your rights this very minute, most of whom you will never meet, but they are out there, near and far...)
