I hope I don't get lactose intolerant, like my father has become.

Do you mind if I ask this? Um, there is soy milk, so it's vegetarian, but almost all soy grown in the US is a GMO. So how do you balance that? At least here in this Duckburg, GMO's are evil, and so is meat. But they seem to go for soy. I guess some evils are okay? Just curious to your thoughts really.

I'm only vegitarian cuz I was raised that way. I don't really mind if the foods have been modified. I'm in duckburg as well :P
I stay vegitarian because it is easier for me than trying to incorperate meats and such

Kind of like going metric. It's easier start that way than to convert. I guess the closest I come to it, is to eat more Asian foods, and get lots of vegetables.

A guy at work was vegan, but then he got divorced, and started hitting the Muchas Gracias, and eating bacon. I don't know if he has gone back yet or not.

Exactly like metric :P Plus, I have NOOO CLUE how to prepare meats and stuff XDD I'd probably give myself food poisoning. Plus, my system isn't used to meats- I get sick if I have more than about 3 bites of meat (Unless it is fish- then I can manage about 9 bites)

Vegan is too much work :P I like Eggnog too much to do it.

Cooking meats, use the hand method. Poke at the base of your thumb for rare, the other side of your palm for medium, and up by your fingers, (hand flat) for well done.

But yeah, I can understand about the poisoning part. I used to room with an uncle, ( only 5 years  older), who always seemed to give himself food poisoning, he called it the flu, I know better. He would leave stuff out, and then eat it later. ugh.

Do you do donuts?

@Jaybug: I have no idea what the hand method means -3-' do you do those when it is hot?

D: I thankfully haven't had food poisoning yet.

MMmmm.... bacon.

Have you heard the saying "You always hurt the ones you love." Well I love piggies and ducks and chickens and cows and turkeys.

I think that a lot of farms need to care for their animals a little better but that's not gonna stop me from eating meat. I just wish I wasn't allergic to seafood because I am really craving some SEA KITTEN right now.
Anyone got some Land Trout I can use for lunch?

I also wanted to point something out >_>

Has anyone actually pluck and cut the head off their thanksgiving dinner? Also has anyone realized that they are using a kids game to get their point across? Kids and young adults are the ones that play cooking mama, so they use these horrible scare tactics to KIDS!

Well yeah, kids are more impressionable. Get 'em while they're young!

People our age are more stubborn and people older are even more so! That's why there's so much pressure to keep kids from thinking booze and smokes and narcotics are cool.

I haven't played the game yet and I don't really want to... animated turkey butchering does not sound fun at all.
