18+ year olds should be allowed in bars, just dont serve them alchohol, not that complicated
That's how it was in Michigan. To tell you the truth though, I don't think it's a good idea, it makes it harder on the servers and is a bigger liability for the establishment. Aside from carding every person every time they're served and watching them to make sure they don't pass their drinks off to minors, the clubs/bars/restaurants aren't given as much control as are the patrons, and it doesn't work very well. I understand the frustration (I missed out on seeing the Flaming Lips when I was younger for the same reason), but things are better off as they are.
OH, and Kurimono, the OLCC is the Oregon Liquor Control Commission. They're the ones that control pretty much everything concerning alchohol in Oregon. I remember I had to even go to this class and pass an exam to be able to serve in Oregon. Other states generally don't have anything like this, so it's a bit of a pain, but it seems that they do a pretty good job at the same time. It's much better than seeing highschoolers getting drunk in bars all of the time and similar problems I noticed in Michigan.
HOLYCRAPAWESOME!!!!
I'm so finding a way to go to that!
The 30th is what?..... a Wednesday?
I can be late to work next Thursday......
I'm so going to that concert!
I wonder if it'll just be two of them or if the third member is back in the band....
I knew that you would be interested, it seems you posted somewhere a while back that you were a fan.
I'm really not sure of who's going to be there to tell you the truth. LOL I haven't even gone through the trouble to see who else is playing. I guess it'll be a surprise.
