Recommendations for possible Vice Chair board election

If Beau Gentry, our current Vice Chair, is elected Chair in the special election on March 22, he would likely step down as Vice Chair. Vice Chair is a board-elected position so the board would then elect a new Vice Chair. At the time of this posting Beau is the only candidate for chair who has accepted the nomination.

In this thread, anybody can make recommendations for the board to consider for the Vice Chair position. The board may elect anyone, including somebody who is not recommended in this thread.

I didn't want to presume that Beau would be the Chair winner and thus stepping down as Vice Chair, but with the election close, he's the only nominated candidate who has accepted.

If Beau wins Chair on March 22 and steps down as Vice Chair, we are planning on having the board election for Vice Chair at a board meeting on Tuesday, March 31, at 7:30pm. At that meeting we will interview people who are interested in the Vice Chair position. If this date and time does not work for any of the suggested candidates, please notify us (please contact secretary@kumoricon.org) as soon as possible so an alternate time can be arranged.

If you are interested in being considered for Vice Chair, a Board-Elected position, please send your letter of interest, including qualifications and any relevant information, to secretary@kumoricon.org.  I will forward your information to the rest of the Board. 

We will be calling candidates and finalizing a decision on Tuesday, March 31.  Phone calls will occur between 7:30 and 8:30 pm.

I recomend meg duncan for vixce cahir I really think she just needs a chances to show peeps what she can do.
