Suggestions?
« on: June 23, 2009, 11:52:21 am »
So I need to make jewelry, I know, odd. But my cosplay has jewelry and I want it as accurate as possible, and I was wondering if anybody knew what I should use, or had a suggestion for me.

Uh, btw, I need to make two rings, and the dangly piece of necklace, not the chain but the you know...'pretty' part?... Does that make any sense? XD
I miss 2010.

And you could always find stuff at Uwajimaya that you can alter/play with.

Can't super help you here since I don't know what you're doing, but sculpty should work fine. Just mold the stuff into what you need, make sure they fit your fingers for the rings and make a hole in the charm on the necklace so you can attach it to the necklace, then pop it in the oven and BAM! You will have things. If they come out a little uneven you can even sand them, and then do whatever like add jewels, paint them, add puffy paint. I use sculpty for most of my accessories and it hasn't failed me once. Hope that helps~
