I still have my luke costume...was him last year...but...*stares at stomach* I'm so out of shape x.x...then again I wasn't in "abs of steel" shape last year either XD. I'll probly just make an attempt at hiding my stomach with a plush doll like my replica luke last year :3.

speaking of which, I'm so totally almost done with my Norma dress! just gotta do the details on one arm and the blue trip and the white thing that is either a swirly heart or a uterus (srsly... wtf?) and then after that, all that's left are the shoes and her straw thingy. As for Alice, I've still got a ton to do.

This doesn't...directly affect me, but just throwing my vote in that Symphonia day be Saturday. Notthatitmattersjustsuggestingit

Jay's top is done, and while there are a few minor flaws, I'd say it looks pretty good(!!!). The flaws that bother me the most do give it a sort of "worn and mended" feeling, so maaaaybe it's okay. Tomorrow I hope to finish the shorts and the shoes, and a good time will be had by all.
We also have a Fenimore who's...agreed to be Fenimore, so hurrah! We can always use more racists. Fenimore's outfit doesn't look too hard, plus I'm getting a little help, so I should be able to finish it in just a few days... And Shirley's virtually done already (okay, well maybe like 60% but still pretty close...) so maybe with the last few days, I CAN put together a wigless Arietta. I already have a black petticoat I'm using for Shirley... As long as Norma isn't too bothered by me wanting to change in her room all the time. (though maybe I should use that extra time to actually beat Abyss before deciding on Arietta. Hm.)

I just found my Abyss game that's been lost for a while. (Logged about 15 hours on it in the past 3 days xD)

Since I highly doubt I'll be able to bring my Jade's spear with me, I now have another idea for a weapon. Mostly for laughs though and because it's packing size. I'll bring other characters' weapons too if I get around to it.

As much as I'd love to, it won't be for this con either. I've seen another Jade at Sakuracon with a mini sized one and as cute as that is, I want a full-sized one so I can actually pretend to swab the deck with it. xD

Well, Norma's in the final stages and you have no idea how happy I am to be almost done with it! Vinyl is so annoying! I have to do the barcode on her back, the detals on her shoes, the blue stuff on her skirt and the white sleeve band thingies and that's it. so, hopefully that'll get done soon. If I have extra time (which I'm almost sure I won't) I might redo a couple things that didn't turn out as well as I'd have liked... anyway, I'll be undertaking some serious work on Alice soon, so I'll post some progress pics when I get around to it

I say no. I know from experience that it just doesn't work as well. You have people showing up in different costumes and if you have a few that are themed one way or another, you have more fun and more cosplayers from the same game. It's always worked in the past, and although there will be cosplayers there from other games, it just generally works better. Most of the cosplayers are symphonia or abyss anyway, and I figure if there's more than one from a certain game then maybe just organize your own little shoot with a smaller group, if you want to...?

The deadline is the 28th for us to get on the signup sheet, so we should probably decide soon. I'd prefer to have symphonia on sunday and abyss on saturday, as would the rest of my group, but I could really go either way. I'd say we should aim for sometime around 3 or 4? I've heard photographers don't like the lighting around noon for some reason... maybe 2 would be good?

Within walking distance of the hotel is the river, and a fountain is right next to it. I'm looking at you, fellow Legendia cosplayers. It's just a little further distance than our Senel might like to walk, but he can just deal with it because there are boats nearby.

alrighty, so we missed our chance to get our photoshoot on the list, but we can still have one, obviously. The schedule's out and kirk thornton's panel is on saturday but signing is on sunday. At this point, I don't care which day is which photoshoot, so I guess it's up to you guys. Does anyone have any conflicting events?

I know dragoness and her sister aren't getting there until afternoon on saturday, so maybe we should schedule whichever shoot is on that day for around 4 so they can make it?

The schedule seems to indicate that the Reborn shoot is on sunday at 2, not saturday. So unless you were doing a shoot with a smaller group of friends, it shouldn't be a problem, should it?

It's ok. I'm fine with how it turned out. There's no need to change the time.
I'm sure I'm more fail then you, at Anime Boston I made a Touhou Project gathering, and when we got to the con and the gathering started, I didn't know what kind of poses we should do, I forgot which game most of the characters came from, and we stood around doing nothing for 30 minutes or so because I planked out...

I'm not in Abyss or Symphonia cosplay, but Legendia is going to be on Sunday sometime. I don't think we've finalized a schedule for Legendia folks.

ah, damn. well, I dunno. I'd like to be able to include everyone, but do we really want to go changing days around this close to con what with the schedule already out etc.? I mean, I could always offer up my hotel room for people who want to change, but that might get difficult.

I don't have any conflictions, really, it's just that sakana (aska/tokunaga) wants to debut aska on the main con-day (sunday) and last time I didn't know that's what she wanted and she couldn't really show for any of the shoots, which we certainly don't want, since she's frickin' awesome.

I think we planned legendia for sunday night. the masquerade is that night too, though, and I kinda want to be dist to that, so if we're still flexible maybe we could switch it up? or not...
