NEW DAYS DAWNING HAS BEEN DISBANDED.

Thank you to everyone who showed their support to the group during the past few months, you really meant a lot to us! Unfortunately due to various reasons, I will not be able to supervise this cosplay group for some time and since not being able to find a replacement, I am stopping group activities as of now. We had a good run these past few months and everyone involved here were absolutely wonderful people to work with. Good luck to everyone and hope to see you around! :3

The main goal of this group is to have a skit for Kumoricon each year and to pretty much establish ourselves as a stable cosplay group,
getting together once in awhile to take some nice group pics with characters from the same anime, manga, video games, etc.
with some videos on the side if we can manage.

I know getting together and time management would be the most difficult part,
but I still wanted to see if I could get some people together anyway.

I have two skits in mind. One I've been wanting to capture on video because the effects would tell the story a lot better. It's a simple RPG battle styled skit, using my own game rules to rock-paper-scissors.

My other skit is a war between two pocky ninja clans, strawberry and chocolate, fighting to be the best flavor. And the ninjas use full sized, foam Pocky swords to battle with, handmade by me. And the only cosplay required is to wear the color headband over your normal cosplay.

I've wanted to join a cosplay group for a while, but haven't had the initiative to. I am very hardworking when it is something that I want to do and I  hate letting others down, so you wouldn't have to worry about me not putting in my part. If I knew dates and times for meet-ups, I would be able to get transportation. I love doing new cosplays and learning about new games, anime, and especially new friends.

There might be some things I would have to juggle this year, but there is no doubt I can work around it unless a real emergency comes up. So, if you would, it would be a great honor to be accepted or even being considered for the group. ^^

Wow Elie, thank you for posting! We would be glad to welcome you into our group! We don't mind that you're a girl, I just hope TurboSaiyanJason won't mind that he's the only guy for now, haha! I'm happy to hear that you're hardworking and like to do new cosplays, because I don't want this group to be half-assed and lazily slapped together; I want it to go far!

Yay, so we officially have four members unless anyone wishes to drop out (I hope not, lol). I originally hoped for a group of four since it seemed like a good balance, but I'm still hoping we'll get one more guy in our group (just one might not be enough, haha) so I'll leave the membership open. Five or six members wouldn't be too hard to manage, but more than that and I might worry.

I suppose our next step would be to finalize our group name! We've made several suggestions so far, which I think I'll list in this post or the next. I hope we hear back from TurboSaiyanJason soon so the four of us together can pick one :)

I am sorry to say I agree 100%+ with my friend above. Because of previous groups I have been in there has been lack of dedication and communication and when cons roll around only 2 people out of a huge group pull through etc. I don't want that to happen to us. And poor attitudes are sad as well. We want this to be a good happy group, not one full of drama (we don't want any of that!) you know the rest, just be fun and all that jazz!
