I just ran from the farthest part of the south building to the farthest part of the north building at my school. I'm guessing its about a mile. so I got a good work out for a second. And school is stressing me so that's probably running my metabolism like crazy. YAY for adrenaline. 8D


also last time I checked(like a few days ago) I had lost an inch 1/2 on my waist and 1 inch on my hips. I need to start lifting weights again too. :<

Ughhh... My body is so sore today it's not even funny. My mom pointed out the other day that I was looking a lot thinner which is a plus, but I probably won't work out today so I can give my body some time to rest up. I have a term paper to write anywho so I guess it works out =]

i think it is cuz i'm feeling sooo much better today. probably 2mrrw i'll be better. all day i was runnning around creaming people. last day of school.

I had a good workout today. Jogged for 30 minutes then did 10 minutes of ab exercises. I WILL LOOK GOOD IN THAT COSTUME!

i cant wait to work out 2 mrrw. i feel so lazy right now and stuff but i know, i will look HOT in the costumes lol...I"ll bee a hot ash, lolz. but ya i got my cousin to be a work out buddy with me. i just hope she does it though cuz she is very lazy, i feel bad for her though. i guess its her self esteem. but good luck to you all!

Alright I cleaned out my closet and that was hard....I am counting that in my workout. That took about 2 hours.

Alright I'm feeling good. I jogged for 30 minutes, did yoga for about 15 minutes then I took my dogs for a walk. Not to mention I am going to be working tonight and out on the floor so that means a lot of walking :D I'm getting a good workout in today as well.

I had an awesome workout today too. I burned over 500 calories in about 40 minutes. It was surprisingly easy, too. Afterward I found myself not as out of breathe as I would have been 2 weeks ago, and I felt like I could probably go another 15 minutes. But the gym was closing early, so I didn't get a chance to. DX

So my knees aren't exactly the best, and apparantly I overworked my right one sometime this week because it keeps buckling anytime I try to go up or down a flight of stairs.... lame

So I wasn't able to workout really today because of it, but I'm thinking in an hour I might hazard a walk to my friends house... It's only like 40 minutes away if I take my time so it shouldn't be too bad. I just don't want the routine I've gotten into to fall apart from a few days off from exercise =[

I know how that is. It's happened to me a lot, I won't exercise for a day, then the next day I'm unmotivated to, and then it turns into not exercising at all. Just remember all the hard work you've done, and that it really isn't so bad to exercise for an hour a day or so. That usually helps me out. Today I was feeling really unmotivated because I gained weight, but I still went anyway, and I'm glad I did because I feel a lot better now.

so much walking today. So much. X_X but it was all in the name of fun, which I totally had tons of.

my leg really hurts for some reason, but not like a torn muscle but like I bruised it. :/ not sure how I did it but oh well. I plan to work out some more tomorrow doing chores and cleaning all the school crap out of my room. but I plan to laze the day away as much as possible tomorrow. lol

Just got some new swimming trunks the other day, so now I can go swimming again. I'm gonna try to start swimming laps in the morning, before the pool gets swarmed by kiddies. Has always been one of my favorite forms of cardio exercise.

A few of you seem to be getting some minor high impact injuries. You can try and do something low impact like biking or swimming is a good idea too, do that for a few days and let it heal.

What are shin splints exactly? Just the word sounds gnarly. x.x; The George Fox gym isn't open on the weekends, so I might go play some tennis, or run around the track for a bit.

I've always thought that it's overuse of otherwise unused muscles, but it really feels like your shins outer bone shattered cause of the tingling feeling...but I dunno exactly it sucks though, wiki isn't direct of the cause... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shin_splints

So I went for a swim this morning, feels great. I got a good 45 minutes of straight lap swimming, and then swam at a more mellow pace for about 40 minutes. Definitely gonna try to do this daily. And I am still planning on going to the gym later, so today should be a good one.

*Just got done at the gym. Didn't accomplish as much as I would have liked. By the time I was done lifting, I was feeling kind of sick, so I didn't get to do any cardio. But at least I got swimming done.

Well, I'm taking care of my friends pets, this week, and while I'm at my mom's, I have to bike over there every morning and night. On the way, there are a few hills and such that I have to go over. But now I'm motivated to exercise!

FINALLY I got to exercise a bit today!!! Went to a Grad BBQ for my friends and we swam for a really long time, and my friend sat on an intertube while I dragged him around the lake forever which was WAAAAY harder than it sounds!!!

Have to work on essays and such tomorrow, but Monday I'm playing tennis with my friend who just got back into town for the Summer, hopefully we can get into a good workout routine together!!!

Due serious to situations at home with my mother's illness, my father and I have been unable to go for bike rides.
I just got up and was able to do my sets up push-ups, crunches, and sit-ups though. d:

Running is one exercise that I like doing alone. It just gives me time to think and focus.

The good news is since I started working out more often in March, I've lost 15 pounds.
And I actually shouldn't lose any more than that, or I'll be unhealthy. (5'8 and now 130 lbs.)
So I see it as a good thing? :D

So, I've been biking to my friends house in the morning to take care of her animals, and I have to bike back home after school, then go there and back around 8 every night. And last night, I did my heel lifts like the trainer told me too do so I could strengthen my calves during the track season, and I did some lunges and crunches.
