So I went on an almost 2 hour speedwalk/jog yesterday and I think that might be my new big workout deal. My friend lives exactly halfway through my route so I can stop, cool off for a second, and go again without getting to hot and nasty.

That and I've started eating a lot more fruit and such, which is working really well for me when I have a serious snack craving... =]

Alright well I have a little more motivation now, the size of the costume I had to get in the hips its an inch too smalls so I will have to lose just a few more inches off my hips in order for it to fit well. I don't think that will be too hard, if I keep up the jogging like I did today the fat will burn off quickly on the inside of my thighs, I also wouldn't be too upset if I lost some muscle on my quads >_> There is just way to much there x.x

Everyone's really going at it. I'm off to make some money, them I'm going to the gym, I need to start doing that more now that I can afford it and don't have to pay a nasty phone bill. X3

I know I can do that, and I wont join because I need more sleep then that. I need about nine hours of sleep to function normally.

I'm definitely going to continue. It seems the earlier I wake up, the more awake I am for the day. It feels great!

I sort of did a no-no though as far as food goes. For breakfast I had less than a cup of cereal and a small banana. Then at lunch all I had was a small salad and half of an apple. My stomach started to rumble during fourth block, so I did a quick calculation and I had had only 400 calories. x.x  So when I got home I had a toasted bagel so I have some carbs in me. ^^;;  I'll eat a regular portion of whatever we have for dinner so that I'll be closer to my normal calorie intake.

For lunch I had a small prtion of rice and steamed carrots.~<3
Also, we walked atleast a mile dring school today for community service, and on Monday we're going on a four mile waterfall hike.~<3

I mean cutting back on calories is great and all but if you eat only a few things like toast and an apple then that is not healthy....in fact that is very unhealthy and you wouldn't be able to keep up with your workout routine with that little amount of food.

I was a Vegitarian for almost three years, and my step-dad always made me drink like five of those a day.

The ones I get are really good, the chocolate ones just taste like chocolate milk and I had a strawberries and cream one today and that tastes so good.

i didnt have a tone for breakfast and had a slice of pizza for lucnh (damn you school cafaterea) I got work tonight which means hauling 50 pounds of potatos per trip for me (in the night i ussualy a lot ._. depending what project were doing and how fast the volunteers work at packing) so im going to grab a bite to eat before i leave for work.

My mom has the powder and she says its only good with milk and not with water, but she did have one that tasted good with water. I guess it all depends on which one you get.

@Nikki: You're right. For dinner we're having turkey, potatoes, and veggies so it will all be good. And protein shakes have never tasted good in my opinion at least. Dx

just munched on some bread so i should have some energy xD i swear most of you complain how its hard to resist chocolate. i can resist chocolate easy but bread is my ultimate weakness <3

shay: eh kinda : ) i work at the oregon food bank on tuesdays hauling the packed boxes or in tonights case bags of potatos. fun though. and its a good work out

That does sound like a good dinner.

Also, I have never liked protein shakes either but you guys should try the Muscle Milk. It is really good. It's not powder, it comes in individual bottles.

kagome: xD its an inside joke with my co workers that im always about to die at the end of each shift cause i dont ussualy eat much between lunch and work (five hours or so) but i'll grab some good fruit before i leave though : )

@Chi: I'm glad you enjoy your job. ^^  And also, I'm with you on the bread thing. I used to be one for sweets, but now it's more the carbs, but I'm been doing pretty well for the most part on resisting. Also, good! Fruit is good for you and oh-so-yummy. :3

Ugh. Sometimes at lunch I forget to eat (or I have to do a paper and I don't get to) and then I get home and I can't even eat anything becuase my stomach hurts so bad ;_____; And food doesn't help it. I just have to sleep XD

UGH. That time of the month starts tomorrow. I hate exercising then. It makes me feel better, but I just have no energy to go out and start it ;_____;

@lightbeam: I have that same problem... sometimes I get to busy to grab some food and all the sudden my stomach starts throwing a fit and refuses any kind of snack. And when "that time" comes around it can suck to actually go out and DO any sort of activity, even if you feel way better afterwards....

Lately I've been having a nectarine or some other kind of fruit for breakfast, normally something with a bit of carbs in it for lunch to get me fired up for a workout (@ Nikki: haha, I had a PB & J today too =] ), and have my protein for the day around dinner which helps me sleep well and keeps my body from getting mad at me XD.

I have to say I am REALLY bad about snacking when I really don't need to (I tend to eat when I'm bored) but I've been working really hard on going for a short walk if I get that sudden urge and it seems to be working so far.

I eat when I am bored all the time. Plus I like to have a little snack at night so I am working on finding something good for me, right now I have only chocolate around me =/

well i had a hell of a night tonight TT_TT we werent doing potatos... we did MILK. each box was 30 pounds a piece, i carried three at a time and there were only brief seconds when my hands were empty ;_; *tired*

and then after that great work out .... i got ice cream TT_TT *ashamed*

That's like my motto right there.... It's always annoying when I've spent my time working out, and had good balanced meals, and one of my friends gives me a hard time when I have a candy bar...

To be honest though my issue is less with candy and more with starchy foods like pasta and bread XD

Actually, I'm still confused about what being "in shape" is.

The problem with losing weight though, is that my stupid Euphie dress doesn't fit me very well anymore, it's a bit big around the waist. xD
I do think I need to lose weight around the hips though, so my TMoHS outfit will look better.~. o.o;;

@Shay: I'll be getting up again tomorrow too. Keeping this up is good for me as well. ^^  Dad says getting up at five is better, so I'll do that. xD

Also, "in shape" shouldn't be fitting well in costumes for me at least. With my body type (genetics) I will never be able to get "skinny", so being in shape just means that I am physically fit to a point where it takes more than the average work out to break a sweat. Also that my body has accepted healthy foods and an appropriate amount of food for my body. And for costumes, I do like feeling comfortable in costumes that reveal a bit more.

Sleeping in is good. It helps keep the body healthy. :3
The only reason why I am getting up earlier is so that my father and I can get an earlier start and go further so I will still have time to get ready for school. ^^;
Also, I know! I told my father about this "support group" and he said that it was a great idea. xD

I think I'm heading to bed now after reading a bit, so good night all! Sleep well~

oh its easy you kinda can fold the fabric in then stich a few seams so the dress is over all tigher, its a bit easyer on small dresses like my kairi : ) or you can go to the dry cleaners and see what they can do.
