(Thanks to Black~Rose for naming the event

Our next mini-event for 2009 will be video game music inspired dance Saturday, July 18th at the Norse Hall in Portland. The info page and link to the online registration will be posted by this weekend (or as soon as I can kick him into getting it ready

). Like the last one, there is not a strict dress code, and cosplay is encouraged, as always.

Minimum age to attend the dance is 14 years old. 14 to 17 year-olds attending the dance need to bring a parental permission form, and all attendees are required to show ID. Due to issues at the last dance, we will be very firm on this. If you do not have some form of ID (state issued, school ID, etc), you will not be admitted to the dance.

Tickets will be $10 if you pre-reg, $15 at the door. For those that pre-reg, you will be entered in drawing for a door prize, and you won't have to wait in line to get into the dance.

hm. I have a question concerning ID. I have a school ID from last year, and it's marked last year clearly, stating I was 13 in 2008. Can I bring this or should I just go get a Washington state ID?

Regarding the School ID from last year: Let me talk to Jaki. Im sure it will be fine as it was last year but ill check to be sure

Regarding Dress Code: Same thing as the last dance. Cosplay prefered or casual dress. No ripped up jeans and tanktops etc. Just wear something fun and nice.

What about a costume like Kuja? That is a quite exposed costume but it is a video game character. Kuja is the third person in my signature.

I don't have the dye yet. Though that wig does look very very good with the organization coat XD
