That was very fun. :D I didn't dance a lot -- I tried and gave up several times -- but I loved watching everyone else enjoy themselves.

I actually brought a CD that had anime/game music perfect for the dance, but I couldn't ask the DJ over the loudness of the music and didn't know if I could come up on stage. Either way there were some good tunes thrown down, like the random Imperial March! Next time this theme happens I'm bringing a retro console and a TV.

It was awesome dancing with you, too. ^^ And yeah, he wanted to head off because his main friends were gone from the dance and didn't wanna stick around. But maybe at the kumori rave or somethin' we can try again without me having to disappear within three minutes. XD

I had loads of fun. Though when me and Axel fought for the Mortal Combat fight song....I kinda punched him....and hard enough to knock his wig off. I dealt the final blow. My nobody has nothing compared to me! Though, I do feel really bad. But I had TONS of fun. Really, I do hope to see some of you guys back at the con!

And then he got glomped so hard his wig fell off again. He really wasn't happy about that.

I saw people doing so, so they cannot deny it! Especially of the YMCA...the song started, and I had no idea what people were doing at first. XD Then again, I knew about five of the songs played, and one of the dances...

Anyways, I definitely had a great time, and I also had a great time staffing. I love helping people, so thank you for letting me do so.

I missed Zoot Suit Riot myself. I could have sworn I brought it to the dance but I grabbed big bad voodoo daddies rather than the cherry poppin' daddies. Too many Swing Daddies in my collection. Next time gadget, next time...

I had fun!! 83 I loved the Macarena and the YMCA. That was epic. I had so much fun seeing everyone again! I'm so glad I got to talk with you Nikki! Your Kuja wig owns hardcore. And it's always fun hanging with you Arumi. X3

However I think the dance would have been more successful had it not been themed. I feel like the music was lacking compared to the first dance because video game music being incorporated. Which isn't exactly ideal to dance to.

I had a great time at the dance, don't get me wrong, but it just wasn't as good as the first one IMO.

I actually didn't hear hardly any video game music, I would say roughly a fourth of it was actually video game music, I was quite disappointed in that, but I do agree the music for the last dance was much better.

The theme did kind of fall flat, unfortunately. Lack of Cave Story aside, the props got me HYPED, and the music didn't hold up to that expectation. Dances really shouldn't try to have arbitrary themes when those themes are not the primary passions of those running them and attending them. A gaming themed dance at a Gaming con? Yes. Anime themed dance at an Anime con? Yes. TBH, just a straight-forward techno/disco dance party would have been a lot smoother, simply because there wouldn't have been the struggle to make things match the theme.

Not POSITIVE as I don't fully know the character, but I believe that the Axel you are speaking of is Yatta Cloud (a.k.a Zach Marsh) of the Anime Hunters. I was surprised when I saw him there, I said that to him early on in the dance "It's only a 3 hour drive." Sweet. I drove 1 1/2 hours, but damn. Comitted. Nice. ANYWAY.

I was the Kenshin at the dance, wasn't on the floor constantly, but pretty hard to miss me.

I had my video camera recording just about constantly so from the time that I arrived (about 7:30~8:00PM..I forget) my camera was recording most everything. ^_^ I did several very fun things with the various songs which I hope to soon get onto YouTube (finally getting SOMETHING on there. ^^; *ahem*. Anyway, for the YMCA it didn't take long until most everyone was in a big circle dancing. Grinning, I took my chance and got my camera which was on it's tripod and went right in the middle of everybody and carefully started turning the camera...... Yeah. Some of my best work...though when you work with such great material, it's not hard. ~_^

Yeah I figured that out. I'm not shocked he drove here just for the dance. A friend drove up from Eugene just for a photo shoot yesterday.

You probably met my friend then, she was in a vampire knight cosplay too.
Her name was Savanah and she was one of the girls who won best pair that night, she was the one that claimed both of them because the other girl had already left.

We were there as a small group
