Hahaha, well I've always thought he was a good guy, but he's such a jerk to Harry-- and I don't care how mean James was to him, Snape loved Lily, and so he could have at least given her son a chance, especially since every time he looked in Harry's eyes it would be like looking into Lily's. I think it's awfully close-minded of him to judge Harry for his father's crimes against him.

I don't want to start an argument here or anything, just stating my views xD;

I think this is the main reason why I hate Harry a lot of the time, but he believes EVERYTHING he hears. Like when they said Sirius was responsible for his parent's death. Judge before questions, right?

Granted, the people he heard it from was people Harry trusts, but he should have been guessing since it was his GODFATHER, for goodness sakes!

Well in his defence, when he heard about Sirius he was 13, which is awfully young. And generally when you're that age, believing what you hear first is common practise. Many adults do it, and quite frequently. And I'd say that if the evidence was enough to make Flitwick, Hagrid, McGonagall, Fudge, and even Remus (who was of course very good friends with him) believe that Sirius killed Peter, having Harry believe it right off the bat isn't that much of a long-shot.

Of course, he still tended to believe everything the first time he heard it until the end of the series, but I think that at 13 and under those circumstances he deserves a bit of a break xD

And that was just one time, he did it a lot, as you said, so he's just annoying.

I probably wouldn't believe anything after living with the Dursley's who lie about everything. c:

I was REALLY surprised to read about how Harry liked his parents before he was told about them outside of the Dursley's, because honestly, you know that with all the lies they told Harry would probably add in how 'they abandoned him and never loved him' or something~

When i went, the film was mess up[ and we missed like 15 minutes of the movie and had to wait for thirty minutes, so I have a free pass to see it again. Then again at least twice.

I was depressed during the waiting time, but then when it started again, It was gone. But I still have part of the movie I still haven't seen, so I'm even more exited 8D

I strangely came across a purple grad gown at a retail store and I have a white beard at home. If I come to this I'll be coming as a first attempt Dumbledore, packing spell balls and a fast tongue. I haven't kept up with the HP series, so I figured it's time I did.

On the Harry believing everything he's told tangent, I think it's mostly where he hears it from... He hates the Dursleys and has always hated them, so I doubt he'd believe bad things about his parents that they may have told him. But he'll believe something that he hears a respected older adult (like McGonagall or Dumbledore or another teacher) say usually without question, because it's just human nature to be more willing to agree with people we like.
And in Phoenix, he did at least make an effort to try to contact Sirius before running off to the Ministry to try to save him... So he got a little better xD (even if his checking in was at Hermione's persuasion...)

Oh, and to the gathering I'll be going as... Well, it's supposed to be Ginny, but everyone seems to think I'm Hermione, so it's kind of a mix between the two I guess xD
