Advice?

So I need a job, and I was wondering what some places to apply to would be good. I have my food handler's card. Well, I should have it soon anyway, its being mailed.

Check Craigslist, there are tons of places hiring there. It also depends on how old you are. If you're under 17, your best bet is fast food, unfortunately. A lot of people are looking for jobs, including myself, and it's definitely not the easiest thing to get right now. DX

Good luck finding something. Like Sayda said, this is a rough patch of hardly-equaled proportions as far as employment is concerned. I'm looking and have been applying around like crazy, but maybe you'll be luckier than me, haha.

But yeah, Criagslist is a great place to check daily. Also check Snagajob.com, they update based on location pretty regularly.

As Sayda said, your best chance would probably be fast food, especially for your age. If you live near a mall, you can try some of the stores there as well.

BE VERY CAREFUL ON CRAIGSLIST. People are being scammed left and right. I recently had a friend who ended up with death threat e-mails and tried to convince her to take out a check worth $900. Honestly, I'd just steer clear from it unless if you're ABSOLUTELY positive about an ad.

It's usually easy to find a scam when you see one, especially if you know how to look for them. I see plenty of them on there. But yeah you should definitely be careful if you aren't sure whether or not it's a scam.

No. I had a friend who worked at like Taco Time and I went to order everything while she was working there. Dunno why but it was fun (not funny, but FUN)
