Yeah. That's why I'm going by a different name. It's so difficult having a name that can be spelled 10 different ways XP

So, I'm working on an outfit right now. Trying out a younger kodona look. Will be interesting if I look any good being a young boy...I'll post pics when it's done to get opinions.

I'm kind of working on a kodona/pirate outfit. I made some shorts last term. Also planning on getting a top hat and putting blue roses on it. And will probably add some more details in places.

Steampunk young Kodona
Will probably add a jabot or a tie, and might get a lighter colored vest...

I think the top coord could use a Jacket to be more aristocrat, and def a hat, like you said.

The second one is looking pretty great! I think more steampunky accessories and maybe more balloony shorts (you know what I mean? like this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-036p4OzMmxI/TdVkYqGYP0I/AAAAAAAACeE/hup_YDzvX-I/s1600/popup_41e2937a900c0.jpg) would look a bit more Kodona.

I actually have a lot of stuff to add to that outfit to make it more Steampunk, but I didn't want to wear them b/c I was just wanting to show the basic style and see what people thought. I probably wont do the puffy shorts, just b/c I have large thighes and I don't want to show that off anymore >>

They don't have to be super poofy, just a little poofy around the knee would be good. I have thunder thighs as well. :X

Do you guys think it'd be weird looking if someone taller dressed in the poofs? I think I'm generally older than the lot of you (I'm 25) and I'm also 5'10". I don't pull off cute very well. What do you guys think?

Also, can't wait to see your guys' outfits at Kumoricon. Lolita outfits are getting so cute nowadays.

There are girls in our community pushing 30 and I started going to meets when I was 15, so age really isn't a problem.
As for tall, go for it. Bronte wears lolita and is crazy tall, and then she wears heels on top of it haha. I think tall lolitas are really striking and look larger than life, and short lolitas (like me!) are cute and tiny.

This, aristo is pretty much welcomed at lolita events though. It looks amazing when done well!

Also I wasn't trying to say you can't wear sweet because of your height! My motto when it comes to lolita (and things in general haha) is if you like it, wear it :3

Those all looks good to me, but you have to be careful with F+F. Their mess up a LOT of orders and send stuff out that's completely the wrong size or material. You should look up reviews before buying from them.

I'll probably just try with them. I've seen a lot of their clothing that I really like. If something's wrong I'll either send it back and complain or just fix it myself.

Or are there good sites that sell Kodona outfits? I haven't found very many, and that's the style I defiantly want to have the most of.

Yeah. since they got rid of the $20 shipping it's a lot less appealing. Plus a lot of their stuff is getting more expensive. That's why Bodyline was great before, cheap and cheap shipping for decent items.
