Why do people have a secret cosplay?

Well, you can never trust the actual sex of cosplayers...Yay for crossplaying!!!

So, for once I'm actually gonna have a secret cosplay for the Masq! I'm excited for it now!

Secrets suck. D:
The only reason I kept mind secret was cause I didn't know if I was going to have the resources to do them.
But now I'm almost done and I want to tell so bad!
Oh, also, I'm excited about the masquerade!
My friend got me this gorgeous mask from Venice, Italy and I'm gunna wear that. (I think. o3o. Depends on my cosplay that day.)

I wanted to talk to someone about my cosplay, so I did...But to the rest of the world, it's a secret!

I just finished my mask designs and am hoping to go shopping later today to start making them (mine and my partners)!!!

In my opinion, it depends on the cosplay.    If it's a brand new series that nobody knows about or one that is rarely cosplayed but people would be excited to see, I would want to be one of the only ones to cosplay that one character. It's a little selfish, but yeah, I wouldn't want others to get the same idea and totally outshine me. Lol. I'm a bad person inside.

This is a similar story to me. Actually I have a secret cosplay that I'm working on for k-con, but I don't list it in my siggy. Or if I am, then it's got to be one of the many listed that others will have to guess until I present it.

It's in my blood...I get excited over the smallest of things ^^

And I'm the same in a way to what Turbo said. When I cosplay little known chars, or chars that barely anyone cosplays, I love to be the only one, cause then people are like "OMG! I love that character! It's amazing that you cosplayed them! Etc...."
