I Want to complain about:

Anime/Manga/ Cult Culture Elitists.

Don't get me wrong, I can be one of them.. I nearly had a deep vein aneurism durring the midnight showing of Death Note 1 and 2 over in
Vancouver because of all the 12 year olds in a movie that was rated R!!! *gets all flustered again* Girl were walking around before the movie
trying to pawn off cruddy drawings of L and Light to people IN THE THEATER!

But I took it because I wanted to see the movie just that much, and I knew and prepared myself for the pre-teen throngs.

I just get so fed up with my friends who think they are better than the next gen of Anime fans just cause they got into it when Poke'mon was
cool and have since matured to watch more contemporary or creative titles or read more creative manga's. I was a Gundam girl, I watched
Sailormoon late at night on Cartoon network and I loved Speed Racer, all before you could buy the junk for it from the local mall. I remember
these days, and it doesn't make me ANY BETTER or WORSE an anime fan then someone who has or watched an original VHS of Akira or Astro
Boy or saw some of the first Miyazaki movies in theaters in Japan. It just means we had a different road to travel in our journey to anime.

Eventually the "Narutards" will either expand their love of Japanese culture, or they will run out of steam and find a different hobby to obsess.
The few and far between who stay addicted to naruto for there entire lives like a twisted trekkie, inevitably should NOT be hounded or messed
with because they probably carry live steel shuriken in their shirts... and those things hurt.

I just get so frustrated because I feel like... I remember back when WE would talk about nothing but pokemon ALL FREEEGAN DAY! And now
we make fun of the Yu-gi-oh kids and the Bakugan lovers and naruto fans? Why does the world act so cruely to it's own kind? It's like...
like we are cannibals!

I always get so angry about cannibals.

^ I completely agree with everything you just said. Everyone has to start somewhere, so why are so many people catty and rude to other otaku simply because they have so far only seen Adult Swim anime or other more mainstream titles? It really doesn't make sense to me.

I don't think there's such thing as a REAL or FAKE anime fans like some people try to imply.... I've been watching anime regularly since late elementary school so over time I've been able to discover some more obscure titles that maybe otaku fledglings haven't been exposed to. That doesn't make me a better fan, or a more devoted otaku, it just means I've been around the block a few times and need to dig a little deeper to find something new and interesting to catch my eye.

On the flip side I feel like there are also some members of the younger otaku generation who can be a little flippant and rude to people who might not think Naruto or Bleach are the greatest things ever (I'll admit I've watched both shows for years, and though I like both they aren't my favorites.) in the end we all have different tastes when it comes to what shows we watch and what manga we read, and just because someone hasn't heard of your favorite series, or might not like a certain show that you obsess over, that is not cause for pointless multi-post argument.... in the end we all have our own opinions and those views are unlikely to change.

Dubaby, all I can say is, my sentiments exactly. I'll admit I'm not too much into Bleach and Naruto, but I'll not go trash the show or the fans of it. Everyone's got different tastes and whether they're into anime on Adult Swim or Ani-Monday or not everyone's stastes are different. There's no such thing as being a better or worse anime fan. There's just differing tastes period. And believe me yoiur not the only one who gets annoyed by elists they drive me crazy too. I've always been a strong believer that there's no such thing as being better then someone else because they watch this or have that. As my grandfather a World War II veteran best put it, "We all bleed the same shade of red." This means we're all human beings, we think, we feel, and sometimes we fall flat on our faces. That's just how we are.

Naruto is my favorie anime..and is now way similar to Bleach...Did ya know Bleach has a filler hat lasted about 2 seasons long.....I call it the Bount Filler...I didnt eveen finish watching the filler and just forgot about this anime..But i like the Manga...Its great actually if you read the manga...

Oh , I remembered what was i going to say.......

I was interested in Samurais and Ninjas when i was little anyway soo......(I always drew them when i was small...I didnt even know about Naruto...IT WAS ALL JACKY CHANS DOING!).......I drew lots of swords and stuff like that.......Plus...I now bring Ramen to school now soooo.....Noodles were invented by Japan....I think...But Japan didnt invent ramen though...Today from Random Events at school and Ramen...I got chopsticks today two..^_^

totally silent.. it would sound a little like Nah-L-toe... but said quicker... the ru sound in japanese is a bit tricky... saying it
Nah Rue Toe is really... wierd to me... I just can't bring myself to do it. because I know it's like saying eh-va-ree sylabul in a
word... I feel like a robot. But you can't yell at a little kid for there japanese pronunciation. Although I will gladdly correct anyone

also people who wont put effort into things they want to do. If you want to play a game badly enough buy it, its not that hard. Dont rely on others to give you what you want.
and people who have no patience for others opinions. If some one doesnt like something you cant force them to like it, heck i dont like Bleach, it got to long for me, over prolonged animes can be a turn off for me : /
