Wig Trouble
« on: July 11, 2009, 06:53:07 pm »
I bought a wig recently for Kumoricon. Its my first long wig I've had(51 Inches long), but I've found myself in a major problem. Part of the wig got into a tangle and had really small tiny knots close to the bottom of it. I've tried to wash out the tangles, but they are so tight that they don't come out with washing or brushing.

Anyone got any suggestion for how to get rid of these knots or should I just cut them out?

Well you'll have to go through the nots individually with a fine tooth comb until they come out and to prevent this problem ever happening again:
Keep it properly stored have it on a wig head with a hair net or store it carefully in the bag with the net that you got it in.
If you look around there are some products that'll reduce the tanglyness of your wig in the future.
Remember brushed are bad for wigs. Use combs.

Here's a link on proper care for super long wigs :3
