I am thinking of starting an Anime Club night so to speak at my house. Where anime fans can come over eat some snacks watch anime, read manga, play games, work on cosplay or just hang out and talk. Just some thing real casual not a big time event or anything. Mabey just once a month or twice if people start coming alot. Any interest in starting this with me?

Oh I forgot to say I live in Beaverton around where T.V. Highway and 185th meet. The nights I have off from work are Sun., Mon., and Tues. What night works best for everyone?

Ok lets try to get this thing going! The first Anime night will be on Sun. July 26th Starting around 5 or 6pm. Feel free to come later I am planning to stay up all night so people can stay as long as they want. We will start off with more kid friendly anime(not necessarily kids anime just stuff I will let my kids watch) i'm not too strict with content. Then around 8 or so if people want we can switch to more adult anime(i.e. Speed Grapher and the like). Feel free to bring snacks, drinks or food(pot luck style). Beer and Sake are ok as I will probably open my Sake later in the evening. If you want to come Message me for my address and\or phone number. If you want to bring manga to read or a cosplay to work on thats ok I also have a GO board and Apples to Apples. Some suggestions on what to watch would be good.

It sound like fun, however the only problem i have is staying too late. On mom's orders I'm to stay home at night so no one breaks in or the cats die o.o still, none the less i would love to come.

I've been wanting to meet your kids for the longest time now X3

If you can you can come as early as 5pm and leave when ever you want. You dont have to stay the whole night.

There is a bus stop at 185th and Johnson I think it is bus 15. It is about a 10-15 min walk to my house

Yes, I am. And if my mom is home I can stay as late as i want. Or allowed I should say. Granted i'm 18, mom's not home for the week and she dosen't want me out too late at night. Cause I've had to call the cops once before, and then there's the two kitties here. But she should be home by then

I got chobits [full series] Fma [1,2,4,5, Movie] Inuyasha [A father's love] NGE [death and rebirth, end of Evangelion] Wolfs Rain [1] and I think that's it >> and then a who bunch of manga

I heard Chobits, an Inuyasha movie I never heard of unless it's the third one, and Evangelion somewhere in there. Bring it. For Inu will be there to enjoy it. E:P

Inuyasha's not a movie. it's a few episodes. it's close to the end of the series so i don't think i'll bring it. Chobit however, I will be glad to bring it with me. And I'm not sure about NGE, since it IS graphic and a bit of a mind confuzuler. I'll bring Chobits and NGE, but not Inuyasha, that would be pushing it on my end sinces that's over half my anime. I know, sad huh?

I own Speed Grapher(grown up anime), Samurai X Ova directors cut, FFVII, Fruits baskets series, Memories(3 ova), and some misc. disks i picked up for cheap.

I have from the Library. Patlabor( old but good), Magial witch Punie chan( so funny), Inuyasha Season 1. mabey some others I cant think of right now.

I also have some (ok alot) of DL subbed anime.

Ahhh a DVD of episodes. I could actually bring some Inuyasha with me. One episode actually has mustaches drawn on all the characters. Problem is, is there a VCR were we're going?

If not then I can roll with persocoms and angels and samurai, oh my!

One day left. I anticipate on Saturday an all-out tactical dogfight, followed by a light dinner. Instead it's going to be early morning practice in Portland, Pokemon League, finished up with sake, schoolgirls, and song...I think.

FFVII: Advent children movie, As far a board games I have apples to apples, a go board and stones, scrabble and others. If you ment video games I have some ps2 games but we will pretty much be watching anime most of the night i think.

I also have the funimation channel and some anime on my dvr.

In the first episode Hideki talks about going to 'certain websites' and is brought up through out the series. Also how he turns Chii on is in a place they shouldn't need to know about just yet. So no, chobits isn't kid friendly. Adorable yes, but with all the inuends and hinting at. I mean nothing really sexual happens except when Chii is activated.
