This meetup was a great success! :3 Please give me your opinions on it, pros and cons, so that I can improve the next time I set up a meetup like this. Thank yooou <3

I was thinking of having one final cosplay meetup before everyone has to head back to school again. This will be school themed, with maybe a fun 5-minute joke class class every hour or so. (Some ideas include: Fangirl/boy class, escaping fangirls class, anime trivia, ect.)

Age limit is 0 to 21 years old.
If you are older than 21, I will let you through if you are willing to hold a class.
REMINDER: People under the age of 21 will still be able to hold classes, just remember that.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING AN UMBRELLA. It's not certain that it won't rain, so please bring one if you don't want to get wet!

DRESS CODE:
School uniform. You can either design a school uniform for your character or wear a uniform that's already from an anime, manga, or game. Crossovers are also welcome. This dress code is not required, but it is encouraged.

CLASSES:
You can either attend all classes, or decide to skip class. I am not in charge of where you go and what you do, so feel free to roam around.

- Improv Class [Hosted by DemonSpawn] 1:00pm-1:15pm
Follow Demony as she sets up fun improv games for the whole class to enjoy!

- Sushi Class [Hosted by Seraph] 1:30pm-1:45pm [LUNCH PERIOD]
Seraph invites everyone to join in on the fun of making sushi! He will be demonstrating how to make rolls while everyone will be split into groups and taking turns. This is still lunch period, but please bring a sack lunch!

- The 10.5 Rules of Anime [Hosted by SirenMarina] 2:00pm-2:15pm
Learn the 10.5 Rules that all anime creators MUST follow (Or at least, she thinks so) with SirenMarina. Why 10.5, you ask?

- Defense Against the Dark Otaku Arts [Hosted by Jaqua] 2:30pm-2:45pm
Jaqua will be giving tips on how to avoid common con disasters and people who might ruin your con experience; and if ran into, how to deal with them.

- Common Weeaboos [Hosted by eternal-spring] 3:00pm-3:15pm
I'm sure everyone knows that there are people out there who tend to "abuse" the Japanese language by using common words like "kawaii", "neko", ect. Megu will be teaching us a basic Japanese lesson.

Guys' uniforms can be just slacks and a dress-shirt _{(with or without a tie)} or a suit. Girls' are usually a skirt and a blouse or a blouse with a sweatervest _{(again, with or without a tie)}, a suit, or of course, a sailor uniform like old-school Japanese uniforms :'D

... Of course, it'd look a lot better if groups of people had matching uniforms :I

I know I discussed this with Dana. XD we were thinking by the waterfront, off Naito Parkway. Kind of where the last cosplay picnic was, with the cherry blossom trees and stuff, sometime in late August, maybe?

Also, you could do what I was thinking about doing, Nikki. XD I was thinking about hosting a "class" of sorts. I was thinking of doing something along the lines of "how to be a good villian". Like uniforms, and a good catchphrase. XD like Team Rocket.

I think...this sounds...EPIC!!~ I'd totally come to this, except I don't have any form of uniform I could wear and I doubt I could get one by then. I just dunno, it's possible though. I can't wait to see how this unfolds.~ And I'd vote for the 29th.

I don't personally have a school uniform...but I still have a few pieces of my uniform from elementary school. All of my cosplays are guys, but, the thought just occurred to me that it would be amusing to have them cross-dress. I could modify my old uniform pants into a skirt...ahaha! Maybe not. That would be hilarious, though...

I vote for August thirtieth. Because it's my birthday.

I have one uniform from when I was in Japan, but I am planning on making konoha gakuen also. Might bring people.. um

Welcome to the Anime Academy Con Cram School.

I'll be coming in either a school uniform or a teacher's suit. Not sure what I'd be teaching though.

But those are some good ideas for classes. If IrukaSensei or someone else can to come and teach Glomp Etiquette, that would be cool. And the 29th works for me.

Well since my panel didn't go through and I would like this at the park, I'd like to teach a boffer making class. Call it foam-shop. I just hope the summer didn't take away all the noodle yet. I'm hoping to have materials for 10 people to make boffers. If I don't, then I'll just demonstrate. I'll also be demonstrating how to make a shield, since the core item is a saucer-sled and winter is coming.

Once again, this is a boffer forging class, not battle training. I can instruct the students in foam combat when recess comes around.

I'll also be bringing 4 fleets for anyone who wants to learn the Pirates of the Cursed Seas Pocketmodel card game.

Well summer stole all the noodles. So I'll just be showing what a boffer sword is made of, how long and short they can be, what shields look like, and how safe these things are. But I'm a laid back teacher, so there can be notes and paper planes, and all-class-long hall passes.

Or I can be the student that got held back and go to the other classes.

In case people don't notice, I'm going to try having a sushi class for the lunch period. While I'll try to have enough rice and seaweed sheets for everyone, I'm only going to be so many fillers. I will be bringing cabbage kimchi, spam, and maybe hot dogs and/or fish(cooked). If none of those interest you and don't want a plain roll of steamed rice covered in seaweed, I ask that you bring something that you do like and maybe some extra to share(if you can manage it).
