Hey! Finally was able to get a final decision about Sakura-Con with my family. Usually we go up together and stay at a relative's house in Seattle, but since we're 3 more hours away and a little bit more lacking in moneys this year, it was an issue. It was decided that my dad and bro won't go this year, but I can go if I get a ride up and room with some of you.

SO. ANYONE GOT SPACE IN A VEHICLE?
ALSO I DISTINCTLY REMEMBER A ROOM OFFER.~ STILL AVAILABLE?

Thats great to hear! I can offer a car ride up if Griff couldn't so we got you covered there...as far as room goes, can't really help there. We have 3 people for sure & another person that isn't sure yet...we like to only have 4 people in our room & prefer that they be at least 21. Reason is because we usually have alcohol in the room...sorry $:-\$

To answer the question about Friday, it looks like the plans are as follows:

When: Friday, January 15th @ 5pm(I like earlier meet times when possible...it allows us to hang out longer )
Where: My place
What: Play video games/board games, watch movies & just generally hang out. Possible brainstorming for K-con group stuff...
Why: Because we can!

As always, please call or text me to let me know if there are any issues with finding a ride & we can work something out...see if we can carpool some people & whatnot.

I might room with Irene and Erin, or I might find someone else to room with
Irene and Erin would most likely love to have you there with them, as would I if that is the room I stay in.

I am at Sargent's and these teenagers keep running in and out of the door to make the bell sound.
If I don't punch them in the face by the end of my HW I have more tolerance than people give me credit for.

If you recall, I suggested "Shots of Otaku" because it fits this group well. Since most of the time we just hang out at our meets & only some of the time we actually work on our things related to con...so it's like taking a shot here & there rather than always drinking it up. Plus...Collaborative suggests a group effort, as in a democracy...not a dictatorship where one person has all the say. These things should really be talked about at our meets rather than just posted randomly on the forums.

The only reason I disagree w/ it is because it is implying drinking (shot) and seeing as all of us but two are underage that wouldn't be the best message to be projecting.

And ice skating is for people with in-contact tendons and balance, neither of which I have xD

Nah, the word shot only implies drinking if that is where your mind goes...shot is a unit of measurement that refers to 1.5 oz. Considering its "Shots of Otaku"...alcohol is in no way implied. Anyway...if someone has another suggestion then go right ahead & suggest.
